Our manager Louis was excellent. He took care of everything we needed, including transportation and phone calls and reservations !!! The price was great, hot showers , good food and nice big beds.... Nice dining in kitchen also for guests. Would receommend this hotel highly. It was a pleasure staying here. Thank you Louis !!!

This Hotel is a sister property of Volcano Lodge and gardens which was amazing. They have a shuttle to bring you to the other property and vice versa. We stayed at this hotel because there was not another night available for a check in a day early at Volcano Lodge. This hotel was in the center of town and we walked to Pops ice cream shop, food and tour companies in the area. Across from a typical park/plaza great to watch local kids and dogs play.

"A Good Short Stop"
The owner Chris is very nice. He gave us lots of useful traveling information. Our room is very small, with 2 full-size bed. The bathroom is very simple, but towers were folded artisticly. This hotel is a good place to stop and to sleep.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Don't think there is a better place to stay here"
At an amazingly low rate, you get great rooms in a small hotel, with the personal attention of the two owners (brothers). Great location, and right on a forest. "Can't wait to return!"
We arrived to find a lovely, seemingly brand new hotel with a friendly staff with an eye for details. Our room included large windows with a view of the forest, a king-size bed, a private bathroom with windows, a glass-door shower with a raindrop showerhead, a large flat-screen TV and a refrigerator. We also had a balcony in front of the room where […] we could sit and listen to the sounds of the forest. When we arrived, the bath towels were folded into swans on the bed while another hand towel was folded like a seashell on the toilet seat. It was a lovely and suited the lovely staff well. They seemed very relaxed yet eager to please. The breakfasts are plentiful with a fruit bowl, coffee or tea, eggs, toast and homemade tropical marmalade. There are 4 parking spaces, which sometimes fill quickly. Otherwise, the walls are a bit thin, so conversations were surprisingly easy to follow, but you can always drown them out with the TV. We recommend dinner at Chimeras Tapas restaurant right up the hill to the left. You may need a reservation, but it will be worth it. "Forest nightmares"
Words cant really describe the low standard (hot water only in the shower) and sleazy conditions (mold and spider webs with spiders) in this hotel. We booked this hotel last minute after reading a few reviews. The good reviews were obviously written by management of the hotel. This place is not for the faint hearted and looks more like a very cheap […] hostel or a low rent motel. It is located outside of town the local neighborhood area with dirt roads. We originally booked this based on information within the hotel listing that stated it was 20 kms from Volcan Arenal. After a full day at Arenal we prepared for what we thought was a short drive but ended up being 3.5 hours and certainly not 20 kms. We hadden een 2 persoonskamer geboekt, maar kregen een 6 persoonskamer. Erg ruime kamer, badkamer wel klein ivt de kamer, maar de douche is heerlijk ruim. Hier en daar wel flinke kieren, dusvoor de zekerheid onder de klamboe geslapen. Maar eigenlijk nauwelijks insecten binnen. Alles is van hout dat geeft wel een huiselijk gevoel. Ontbijt: vers fruit, […] roerei en toast met jam. Het personeel is enorm vriendelijk en wij kregen al voor de normale tijd ons ontbijt ivm een geboekte excursie. Monteverde NP is vlakbij (met de auto). Je kijkt uit op de bomen, verwacht geen weids uitzicht, maar je waant je wel midden in de natuur. Heel vlakbij is een bakker en een supermarkt. Dineren kan je ook heel goed in de buurt. Chimera is een tapas restaurant, klein tentje, maar super lekker eten. Ook Johnny's is ons goed bevallen, wel wat duur voor een pizzeria, maar goede kwaliteit en een gezellig restaurant. Beide restaurants op loopafstand. Restaurant Morpho in het centrum van Santa Elena is ook een enorm gezellig restaurantje helemaal in het teken van de Blue Morpho (vlinder) en het eten is lekker! De receptie is overigens niet continu bemand, er staat wel open van 8am to 8pm, maar soms moet je de mannen even zoeken.
