      We loved the amazing array of fresh fruits offered at breakfast (in addition to loads of other foods). Finding parking on the street was easy and the neighborhood seemed great so we were were not worried about the car. We felt we got very good value for the room price we paid.

      Beside the castle, above the sea, wonderful hosts, good breakfast: this is a wonderful hotel! The only improvement I can suggest is better internet service, but everything else was wonderful. The memory of this charming hotel will warm my heart forever.

    Ruth and Owen are outstanding hosts, full of helpful, practical information about hiking trails and the surrounding area. Owen even went out of his way... to personally drive us to the trailhead of one hike! We loved Ruth's homecooked, but definitely restaurant quality, meals and we were delighted by the excellent cheap but good quality winelist. by annie  from Reading on 04/07/13

    Spent a cople of nights at this beautiful hotel. Very well maintained. Excellent food and good selection of veg options. The road that leads to the hotel is a bit tricky. It's only wide enough for 1 car. But it works out well as long as you don't make up and down trips during the day. Leave in the am and return in the pm, you'll be fine.
