"Very good service"
We stayed here for about 7 nights. The room was small as typically in japan but it's clean n comfortable. Close to station. And the receptionist girl named Yuriko was very helpful. She's the best and gave us the best impression as this is our first trip to japan. Deff will come back here n recommend this hotelGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was so close to the metro which takes less than 2 minute walk. The location is in the office area but there are plenty of good food to try near the area. Even though the room and bed was pretty small, it is acceptable as long as you do not have big bulky baggage. Overall, I would recommend this hotel as they are affordable and value for […] money. "modern hotel, close to metro"
I stayed at Sotetsu Fresa for 1 night. My room was tony but adequate. There us Wi-Fi in the lobby. Light breakfast is included. There are nice little extras: samples of creams and lotions and a good selection of fruit teas. The staff try hard, but their English is just not adequate.Metro station is very close, there are many restaurants in the neighbourhood, […] overall- pleasant experience Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The Sotetsu Fresa Inn Nihombashi-Kayabacho was the first hotel that we stayed in during a ten day trip to Tokyo, Kyoto, and Hiroshima. The hotel's location was great (a single train, no transfers, took us from Haneda Airport to the Nihombashi station, a seven minute walk (with luggage) to the hotel). Although there aren't any major Tokyo sights within […] walking distance from the hotel, the Kayabacho subway station is literally around the corner, allowing for easy and quick access to all of Tokyo's main sights and neighborhoods. The room was a little small but very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The free breakfast was handy, though not all that substantial. The staff is very friendly and there are lots of amenities if needed - we were able to borrow much-needed umbrellas for no charge during a super rainy day. There is a Starbucks, 7/11 (with an ATM), and a bunch of noodle restaurants all within one block of the hotel. We highly recommend the hotel for a stay in Tokyo! Decently priced hotel that is about 10 min walk from Tokyo station. Convience stores and restaurants all in the area. Breakfast wasnt as advertised on their website. Room was a bit dusty as wellGenuine Expedia guest review
We stayed 3 days in this hotel. Arrived around 10am, but we could check in after 3pm. It felt lot longer when after a 14hours flight you want a shower and relax a bit. "Great Job, Sotetsu Fresa Inn !"
Sotetsu Fresa Inn in Yokohama gave us a great impression. This year, I booked this hotel in Tokyo with confidence & no worries and it didn't disappoint us much . Just that the room is a bit small & the room interial is not as good as the one in Yokohama. The Cafe breakfast suits me, especially with the choice of coffee that I can choose, but my husband […] prefer the buffet style in Yokohama Fresa Inn. The 10 min walk to Tokyo Station & TCAT Terminal, next to Kayabacho Station makes it a reasonably good location. With this kind of price cannot expect it to be next to Tokyo Station. What's most important to us is location & cleanliness. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"second stay here"
Great hotel for the price. It's next to several restaurants, a subway stop, and convenience stores. It's also within walking distance of Nihombashi and Tokyo station. The room is small but clean and well maintained. The breakfast at the adjoined restaurant is on the light side, but well balanced. Hotel staff are very helpful. The coin laundry is a small […] machine though, and you'll need more time on the dryer than you think. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Friendly service and bonus breakfast"
Friendly welcome and well-equipped room. Room small, so bed could only be accessed from one side, but not a problem. Small breakfast included at friendly cafe next door. "Excellent Hotel in a great position"
We stayed here for a week in July - this was my first trip to Tokyo and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The hotel is in a great spot close to Kayabacho Metro station (literally a 1 minute walk) and also within walking distance to Tokyo Station (about a 15 minute walk). The hotel was great, very clean and friendly staff - the room was a little small but that's […] what you get in Tokyo. We had a semi-double room and to be honest the bed was bigger than I was fearing so this was great. The room was cleaned every day to a high standard - a nice extra was the Ladies cosmetic pack you get upon arrival as well as the little extras in your bathroom. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel - fantastic value for money and in a great position. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Very small but clean and comfortable"
I knew the siZe of our room (i was informed when we booked it), but when we saw it in reality it was still a little shock :) but the room is cleAn, has all necesasary facilities. We liked that they are environmentally friendly and ask you not to change your bed sheets every day (if you choose to do that they give you a bottle of water every morning […] instead). The staff speaks ok english and they serve a nice breakfast (though it's the same every day - you choose from 2 options). The biggest disadvantage is hotel's location - if you are travelling with a JR pass, you'll have to walk 1.5+ km to Tokyo station every day. Otherwise you have to take a subway (which is just around the corner) and pay extra for the 2-stop ride to Tokyo or any other JR railway station. Depending on how long you stay in Tokyo and how much of it you wanna see, you might end up spending a lot of extra money on subway (when you've already payed sooo much for the JR pass) Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This was a good hotel. Clean, good service and comfortable. It was pretty small though. Just big enough for one person. There were two of us and we were pretty cramped. Not a lot of room to move and the bed was between a double and a twin size. But, still a nice hotel. I would recommend it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"a/c almost non existent"
Stayed for 4 nights when I was in Tokyo. Size of room is standard that of other similar 3 star Tokyo hotels. Service was decent, not particularly excellent. English ability of staff was semi fluent to unable to communicate in terms of the English language. 2 dislikes about this hotel. A/c is centrally controlled even though you do have an a/c monitor […] in the room. Room was very room regardless what temperature I set it to. This chain of hotel is very concious of being eco-friendly. That might be why as a foreigner from a dry climate found the a/c very insufficient for my body (sweating buckets). Other issue is going in and coming out of the hotel you will encounter very smoky atmosphere in the lobby, which is where the breakfast is served. It was one of the reasons I chose to skip it (Tokyo has lots of options, but do note that most places arent open until 10am though ). Of the 3 hotels I stayed at in Japan this one was the one I liked the least. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Affordable hotel with good transport links"
I arrived a few hours early to the hotel and the staff were happy to let me leave my bags and wander around until the allocated check in time. The room was of a standard size for a Japanese hotel, clean and well kitted out. Seeing as I wasn't going to be spending huge amounts of time in the room I felt it was a perfect bargain. If you opted for not […] changing your sheets in the morning, they'd give you a free bottle of mineral water too (something about the environment)! All in all, I'd recommend the Fresa Inn Nihombashi hotel, to anyone needing a cheap, friendly base of operations for popping in and out of on their trip to Tokyo. However, I wouldn't recommend it to someone who likes to spend a lot of time in hotels. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Stayed for 8 days. Staff were very nice and helpful. The free breakfast was enough and delicious. Location was great, very near Asakusa, Ueno, Chiyoda and Ginza. 1 minute walk to Kayabacho station. "Pleasant hotel with welcoming staffs."
The hotel is easy to get from Haneda Airport but is quite a distance Shibuya & Shinjuku. However it is quite near to Akihabara & Ueno :) The room is small but it is very clean and has all the amneties you will expect of a standard hotel except for a safe but the hotel is secure enough as visitors need the access room card to get into the hotel itself […] aft 1am. They also provide extra cute little toiletries at the lobby which is a plus. The staffs are very helpful, welcoming & speak gd english. However do take note that their chamber maid service is only until 2pm so if you're sleeping in late after a very late night out in Shibuya, no one will be available to make up your room to change the bedsheet, towels etc. The breakfast is good but they should have more variety especially for visitors who stays longer at the hotel & ends up eating the same thing for breakfast every morning. Alternatively there are many good & cheap restaurants nearby & 7 11 is just across the street. I'll recommend this hotel for those like myself who wants to come back to a quiet environment after a long day out in tokyo. It is also value for money & I'll definitely come back and try one of the other Sotetsu Fresa Inn hotels just for a change of environment's sake. Otherwise this hotel itself is good. "Cheep and Mostly Cheerful"
Firstly the hotel was very good value and very convenient for Tokyo Station - it was about a ten minute walk. It is set up more for overnight business people, but worked okay for us sightseeing. The room was very small and the bed is really only a queen-sized single, but we knew that at booking. However the very thin and lumpy pillows were uncomfortable […] and they seemed reluctant to give us any more. The room felt a bit old, but very clean. The (free) breakfast is entirely forgettable, but there is a Starbucks one minute away. All in all, for two people it was a squeeze, but okay; for one person is would be much better. As with about all things on that part of the world, this one was just the same: high tech/decent comfort/difficult to understand place. Explanation: everything is built under a pretty high technological concept: digitally comanded toilet with heated seat and in-built washing facilities, room lighting switched by a door locking card electronic switch, […] an in built all included room air conditioning system (cooling/heating depending on the season), but comfort is at the bare decency level, due to the minimal space allocated for rooms, and that was a large room compared with those cubicle type hotel accomodations which i wouldn't choose if they were the last on the world to choose; also, the bed was a mere twin size supposed to accomodate 2 persons, and the mattress was hard like a stone( a memory foam would have done nicely really instead). And of course, everything was written in japanese with a very minimal english translation, even the english series on their tv programs were syncronized in japanese which made useless our desire to watch their programs. But, of course, we kind of expected to all this, because we were allready aware of the particularities of the japanese culture and anyway we went there to visit their places and not to stay into a hotel, so we were quite happy with the room. So if you're not prepared to pay an arm and a leg for a western style accomlodation but rather wake up early in the morning and just go see places all day long, this hotel will ok. Everything about this hotel was excellent: Staff were very helpful, particularly as our Japanese language skills are very limited and we relied upon their ability to speak some English. This accommodation cost us considerably less than others we had booked within the UK, but provided equally, if not better level of amenities and service. The free Wifi […] was brilliant and the free breakfast, albeit very basic; a cold hard boiled egg with toast and coleslaw and a drink set us up for a mornings exploring. We enjoyed our four days there so much we are planning a longer trip to Japan and plan to use this and other Sotetsu Fresa Inns whilst there. Having stayed at and being pleased with Sotetsu Fresa Inn Tokyo-Kyobashi 3 months prior, I decided to try Nihombashi-Kayabacho. I was surprised to find that one of the hotel staff from Kyobashi had moved to Kayabacho and even remembered me! The service was friendly and I really liked that a free breakfast service was offered if you stayed at the hotel. […] You had to go to the front desk to get a breakfast voucher to eat at Pronto cafe. "Very nice room, clean and comfortable."
My daughter and I stayed in a semi-double room - which is a bed only slightly larger than a standard single bed. It is a tight fit, but it was okay for only two nights. We tried to upgrade to two twin beds once we got there, but the price was too much for us. All in all, it was a great value, because there was every amenity we needed, plus a free breakfast […] each morning. It was more than I expected, and a great start to the day. The staff were helpful, and I would definitely stay there again. We did have a very hard time finding the hotel, however. We came from the metro, and were using a 7/11 store as our reference point, but there are two metro openings close-by, each near a 7/11 store. We wandered around for an hour, dragging our suitcases, and finally had to stop at another hotel (because we didn't see people to ask), to ask for instructions. So I would recommend this hotel, but be careful to note clearly how to get there before you go. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
My mom and I stayed at this hotel for a week and we loved it. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful even though they didn't speak a lot of English. The room was always clean, and although it was small, it had EVERYTHING you could want. Including a warming table, kettle, mugs, TV (Japanese), and even a fridge. The bathroom was excellent. Again […] small but with everything you need and great water pressure and temperature. Toilet has its own array of great features! All toiletries you need are provided; shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrush, hairbrush, shower cap. They do not provide lotion and I found the hand soap to be drying so bring your own. They even provide you with Japanese style pajamas and slippers to use during your stay. During our winter stay, we would look forward to retreating back to our cozy hotel room and make hot tea. They have lots of free tea bags to choose from in the lobby, along with additional amenities like bath soaps. They also give you upon a check in a small bag with a hair tie, hair clip, and a Shiseido travel kit including face wash and face lotion. Last but not least, we looked forward to our morning set every day. You have two options; croissant, yogurt and drink or toast (thick and delicious like Texas toast), egg, and salad. Try the hot cocoa! Finally, It's a minute walk from the metro which will get you anywhere. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
