My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights, and we had a very comfortable stay and and overall positive experience. The Breakfast each morning - although on the lighter side - was quite sufficient and wholesome and also came with a complimentary beverage. By Tokyo standards, the room was cozy and self-sufficient, as it had all the facilities, including […] pyjamas. The bathroom, although small, was tidy and modern. Free wifi is also provided. The Hotel is about 15 minute walk to the Tokyo Railway Station which is very handy for all JR Lines and Bullet Trains. There are several eateries around the hotel, and a few convenient stores as well. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good location, but very small rooms"
Good things about this hotel: - One block away from Kayabacho metro station with connections everywhere, and three blocks from Nihonbashi station with even more connections (which even have a train that goes to the airport with no change). - Neighbourhood is quiet if that is what you would like. - Hotel staff is friendly and rooms are quiet. - Breakfast […] is not that great, but included in the price and what they give is more than enough. Bad things about the hotel: - Rooms are very small. We have stayed in small rooms in Hotels in Tokyo, but this was smaller. - Hotel is a business hotel, which seems to be focused on late night workers who will stay overnight. For them, I believe the hotel is perfect. If you come from overseas with a large suitcase, then the room are not really design for it, and you are going to struggle to find a place to put your bag(s). Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Sotetsu Fresa Inn kayabacho area"
Stayed 8 nights. Pleasant and simple albeit basic hotel. Small room with step up bathroom cubicle, in room fridge and TV. Breakfast was choice of either egg/salad/toast or salad/croissant/yoghurt plus one beverage of your choice. Metro less than one minute's walk from hotel (kayabacho station) - about a 25 minute trip to Shibuya/Shinjuku or 10 minutes […] to Ginza. Plenty of eateries nearby, including 24 hour convenience stores with decent cheap meals. Staff were friendly, helpful and conversant in English. Overall a pleasant and convenient place. "Very good service"
We stayed here for about 7 nights. The room was small as typically in japan but it's clean n comfortable. Close to station. And the receptionist girl named Yuriko was very helpful. She's the best and gave us the best impression as this is our first trip to japan. Deff will come back here n recommend this hotelGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was so close to the metro which takes less than 2 minute walk. The location is in the office area but there are plenty of good food to try near the area. Even though the room and bed was pretty small, it is acceptable as long as you do not have big bulky baggage. Overall, I would recommend this hotel as they are affordable and value for […] money. "modern hotel, close to metro"
I stayed at Sotetsu Fresa for 1 night. My room was tony but adequate. There us Wi-Fi in the lobby. Light breakfast is included. The Sotetsu Fresa Inn Nihombashi-Kayabacho was the first hotel that we stayed in during a ten day trip to Tokyo, Kyoto, and Hiroshima. The hotel's location was great (a single train, no transfers, took us from Haneda Airport to the Nihombashi station, a seven minute walk (with luggage) to the hotel). Although there aren't any major Tokyo sights within […] walking distance from the hotel, the Kayabacho subway station is literally around the corner, allowing for easy and quick access to all of Tokyo's main sights and neighborhoods. The room was a little small but very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The free breakfast was handy, though not all that substantial. The staff is very friendly and there are lots of amenities if needed - we were able to borrow much-needed umbrellas for no charge during a super rainy day. There is a Starbucks, 7/11 (with an ATM), and a bunch of noodle restaurants all within one block of the hotel. We highly recommend the hotel for a stay in Tokyo! We stayed 3 days in this hotel. Arrived around 10am, but we could check in after 3pm. It felt lot longer when after a 14hours flight you want a shower and relax a bit. "Great Job, Sotetsu Fresa Inn !"
Sotetsu Fresa Inn in Yokohama gave us a great impression. This year, I booked this hotel in Tokyo with confidence & no worries and it didn't disappoint us much . Just that the room is a bit small & the room interial is not as good as the one in Yokohama. The Cafe breakfast suits me, especially with the choice of coffee that I can choose, but my husband […] prefer the buffet style in Yokohama Fresa Inn. The 10 min walk to Tokyo Station & TCAT Terminal, next to Kayabacho Station makes it a reasonably good location. With this kind of price cannot expect it to be next to Tokyo Station. What's most important to us is location & cleanliness. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"second stay here"
Great hotel for the price. It's next to several restaurants, a subway stop, and convenience stores. It's also within walking distance of Nihombashi and Tokyo station. The room is small but clean and well maintained. The breakfast at the adjoined restaurant is on the light side, but well balanced. Hotel staff are very helpful. "Excellent Hotel in a great position"
We stayed here for a week in July - this was my first trip to Tokyo and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The hotel is in a great spot close to Kayabacho Metro station (literally a 1 minute walk) and also within walking distance to Tokyo Station (about a 15 minute walk). The hotel was great, very clean and friendly staff - the room was a little small but that's […] what you get in Tokyo. We had a semi-double room and to be honest the bed was bigger than I was fearing so this was great. The room was cleaned every day to a high standard - a nice extra was the Ladies cosmetic pack you get upon arrival as well as the little extras in your bathroom. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel - fantastic value for money and in a great position. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Very small but clean and comfortable"
I knew the siZe of our room (i was informed when we booked it), but when we saw it in reality it was still a little shock :) but the room is cleAn, has all necesasary facilities. We liked that they are environmentally friendly and ask you not to change your bed sheets every day (if you choose to do that they give you a bottle of water every morning […] instead). The staff speaks ok english and they serve a nice breakfast (though it's the same every day - you choose from 2 options). The biggest disadvantage is hotel's location - if you are travelling with a JR pass, you'll have to walk 1.5+ km to Tokyo station every day. Otherwise you have to take a subway (which is just around the corner) and pay extra for the 2-stop ride to Tokyo or any other JR railway station. Depending on how long you stay in Tokyo and how much of it you wanna see, you might end up spending a lot of extra money on subway (when you've already payed sooo much for the JR pass) Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This was a good hotel. Clean, good service and comfortable. It was pretty small though. Just big enough for one person. There were two of us and we were pretty cramped. Not a lot of room to move and the bed was between a double and a twin size. But, still a nice hotel. I would recommend it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"a/c almost non existent"
Stayed for 4 nights when I was in Tokyo. Size of room is standard that of other similar 3 star Tokyo hotels. Service was decent, not particularly excellent. English ability of staff was semi fluent to unable to communicate in terms of the English language. 2 dislikes about this hotel. A/c is centrally controlled even though you do have an a/c monitor […] in the room. Room was very room regardless what temperature I set it to. This chain of hotel is very concious of being eco-friendly. That might be why as a foreigner from a dry climate found the a/c very insufficient for my body (sweating buckets). Other issue is going in and coming out of the hotel you will encounter very smoky atmosphere in the lobby, which is where the breakfast is served. It was one of the reasons I chose to skip it (Tokyo has lots of options, but do note that most places arent open until 10am though ). Of the 3 hotels I stayed at in Japan this one was the one I liked the least. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Affordable hotel with good transport links"
I arrived a few hours early to the hotel and the staff were happy to let me leave my bags and wander around until the allocated check in time. The room was of a standard size for a Japanese hotel, clean and well kitted out. Seeing as I wasn't going to be spending huge amounts of time in the room I felt it was a perfect bargain. If you opted for not […] changing your sheets in the morning, they'd give you a free bottle of mineral water too (something about the environment)! All in all, I'd recommend the Fresa Inn Nihombashi hotel, to anyone needing a cheap, friendly base of operations for popping in and out of on their trip to Tokyo. However, I wouldn't recommend it to someone who likes to spend a lot of time in hotels. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great value for price."
Stayed for 8 days. Staff were very nice and helpful. The free breakfast was enough and delicious. Location was great, very near Asakusa, Ueno, Chiyoda and Ginza. 1 minute walk to Kayabacho station. It is quiet and looks secure at night. Has 3 convenience stores nearby. A lot of free amenities. Very clean room. "Pleasant hotel with welcoming staffs."
The hotel is easy to get from Haneda Airport but is quite a distance Shibuya & Shinjuku. However it is quite near to Akihabara & Ueno :) The room is small but it is very clean and has all the amneties you will expect of a standard hotel except for a safe but the hotel is secure enough as visitors need the access room card to get into the hotel itself […] aft 1am. They also provide extra cute little toiletries at the lobby which is a plus. The staffs are very helpful, welcoming & speak gd english. However do take note that their chamber maid service is only until 2pm so if you're sleeping in late after a very late night out in Shibuya, no one will be available to make up your room to change the bedsheet, towels etc. The breakfast is good but they should have more variety especially for visitors who stays longer at the hotel & ends up eating the same thing for breakfast every morning. Alternatively there are many good & cheap restaurants nearby & 7 11 is just across the street. I'll recommend this hotel for those like myself who wants to come back to a quiet environment after a long day out in tokyo. It is also value for money & I'll definitely come back and try one of the other Sotetsu Fresa Inn hotels just for a change of environment's sake. Otherwise this hotel itself is good. "Cheep and Mostly Cheerful"
Firstly the hotel was very good value and very convenient for Tokyo Station - it was about a ten minute walk. It is set up more for overnight business people, but worked okay for us sightseeing. The room was very small and the bed is really only a queen-sized single, but we knew that at booking. However the very thin and lumpy pillows were uncomfortable […] and they seemed reluctant to give us any more. The room felt a bit old, but very clean. The (free) breakfast is entirely forgettable, but there is a Starbucks one minute away. All in all, for two people it was a squeeze, but okay; for one person is would be much better. As with about all things on that part of the world, this one was just the same: high tech/decent comfort/difficult to understand place. Explanation: everything is built under a pretty high technological concept: digitally comanded toilet with heated seat and in-built washing facilities, room lighting switched by a door locking card electronic switch, […] an in built all included room air conditioning system (cooling/heating depending on the season), but comfort is at the bare decency level, due to the minimal space allocated for rooms, and that was a large room compared with those cubicle type hotel accomodations which i wouldn't choose if they were the last on the world to choose; also, the bed was a mere twin size supposed to accomodate 2 persons, and the mattress was hard like a stone( a memory foam would have done nicely really instead). And of course, everything was written in japanese with a very minimal english translation, even the english series on their tv programs were syncronized in japanese which made useless our desire to watch their programs. But, of course, we kind of expected to all this, because we were allready aware of the particularities of the japanese culture and anyway we went there to visit their places and not to stay into a hotel, so we were quite happy with the room. So if you're not prepared to pay an arm and a leg for a western style accomlodation but rather wake up early in the morning and just go see places all day long, this hotel will ok.
