Although the lobby had a refrigerator and a coffee maker, there was no ice at night and no coffee in the morning. Not familiar with the area we drove a half hour looking for coffee.

The Holiday Inn Express in Utica was modern and clean. Very satisfied with the room, 2 queen beds (many other hotels only have double beds), room could be slightly larger, good length but a little narrow. However at least as roomy as most hotels in this range. I had read some reviews that the hotel could be noisy, so I asked for a quiet room and it […] was. Wi-fi included worked very well. Only one complaint, it is certainly convenient and good value that a breakfast is included, but the scrambled eggs had a texture like foam rubber, the sausage was more like a hot dog and there was a machine that makes pancakes, but they come out kind of hard rubbery. No fresh fruit, that would have been nice. However, still glad I chose this hotel for my stay in Utica. Read more
