It was nice and quiet. Room a little small but all rooms in NY are small.

Good, I was in/out. Fast check in, quality room & comfort. Clean. I used none of the other hotel facilities. Wanted to be reasonable walk to Penn Station for an early morning train. Also convenient to shopping area around Herald Square.

When we checked in were assigned a room so we brought all our belongings into the room. As soon as we got back after a night out in Times Square we notice someone was staying in our room. So then we asked the front desk receptionist and he said our belongings in our assigned room had been taken out of the room and put in some holding area. They assigned […] us to a different room and luckily nothing was taken out of our bags. I asked the manager what happened the next morning and he said the receptionist when we checked in was new and there must have been a misunderstanding. Um you think? So after all that they never did anything for us except for an apology. I will never stay here again and I advise everyone to stay elsewhere. Read more

We stayed on the 19th floor where we had a view of the Empire State Bldg. It was a small room but big for NYC standards. The room was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel lets you store luggage with them before and after check out. Location was OK; long walk to touristy areas and not much choice for good restaurants within short […] walking distance. The Hotel assigned me to a room. I dropped off my bags during Check In.. Went out to dinner enjoyed the night. By the time we got back to the Hotel the key didn't work. So we went back down to the Receptionist. Then he tells me that wasn't the room I was suppose to be assigned too. Mind you someone else is occupying the room with all of our stuff still […] inside. So he reassigns us, to another room. Key didn't work. Go back down 2nd time. Finally they got us into the right room. However, my bags were still in room with strangers. Thank God for the nice Maintence/Janitor guy that went back up 3rd time to knock on the door to get my stuff out, an made sure all of our property was still there. He was the only helpful one. This was my first trip to New York City. This hotel appears to be very new and in very nice condition. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although the room was small (which I understand is normal in NY), it was very modern and comfortable. The beds were wonderful.
