El apartamento 3103 se encontraba muy sucio, apenas lo recibimos aparentaba estar bien pero después empezaron a salir cucarachas de todas partes, de la cocina, de la nevera y de los cuartos. Tratamos de comunicarnos con el que nos recibió y nunca contesto las llamadas. De 5 días que estuvimos, 3 no tuvimos servicio de televisión, en realidad jamás volvería a este lugar y no se lo recomiendo a nadie. Adicionalmente uno de lo único bueno fue la piscina del lugar y la vista del SUCIO apartamento.

El trato fue malo de la gente que atendía en el hotel, y el lugar era MUY sucio, lleno de cucarachas.
Lo que tuve que hacer fue tomar otro hotel, y obviamente no recuperé mi dinero.
No lo recomiendo para nada

Many issues roaches, coffee cups broken, pots old and washer machine didn't work properly , air conditioner drip water on the floor. Apartment layout is great but it needs serious maintance . I would not recommend the complex to anyone.
Arrival was not a good experience. There are many management companies renting on this building. We were held on the ground floor and my family was not allowed to go to the lobby until the found who was the management company. They force you to use an annoying wristband. Only two out of three elevators were working, for a building of 40 floors, it is insufficient. You had to leave an ID in order to park. The internet was extremely slow.
If you want to have 5-star views at 3-star cost, stay at Palmetto Resort. We did that for a whole week at USD$150/day for 5 people in a 2-bedroom apartment with lounge and kitchen. Floor 24 was great, away from noise and comfortable enough with a cozy balcony. The pool and cocktails were great. The building is not fantastic looking and some of the amenities weren't in perfect working order but the location is perfect for walks everywhere including to the old walled city.
The location was across the street from the beach, that was great. The rooms were clean except for the cockroaches. The view from room 2902 was wonderful. We locked the bedroom door to find out no one had the key to open it. Had to wait for a locksmith to open it. He wanted to charge us for opening it! We didn't pay him and we never got a bill. Could not access the pool all the time, It seemed always being cleaned, couldn't they do it on off hours. We met some friends and found out that they could not join us in the pool, only for guests. If it wasn't for the cockroaches I would have give it a higher rating.
I would love to give a 4 or 5 star review for this building and apartment, but various irritations lower the rating to 3 stars. Firstly, we organised the apartment over the internet through Facebook chat with Ana Aramendiz. This went well, although at the end of the operation, getting into the apartment after arriving on an aeroplane was stressful. There was a representative at the building to meet us, but the communication process prior to the apartment surrender had been lacking. An email detailing how this would be handled would have been nice.
Secondly, the staff of the building. Overall, good and helpful.
Thirdly, the apartment location. The apartment building is well located, on the beach and close to supermarkets, shops, restaurants and banks. The apartment itself, on the 40th floor, overlooks the old city with an absolutely wonderful view. The apartment is generally good, with a large bedroom and king bed with a bathroom. There is an additional bathroom off the main room for guests. The bathroom has a small kitchenette with a stove and oven, microwave and various cooking implements. The cooking implements, generally, are not complete, I assume that bit by bit various renters have misplaced or broken them. Plate sets are not complete and the cutlery is not of good standard. The coffee maker is broken and needs to be replaced. The worst is the stove, which is detached from its surrounding cabinetry. I very much doubt that it has ever been used or that its use would be safe.
Other areas of the apartment are showing signs of wear and tear and lack of maintenance. When one is paying a premium rent, I think you should expect a better standard. These things are so petty, so easy to fix and yet are allowed to continue, lowering one's opinion of the apartment. Perhaps other apartments are better maintained.
There are actually a couple of Palmettos. The one we stayed was Palmetto Eliptic. The desk people were very nice and friendly. The building seems a little 'old' feeling for a newer construction. The Apartment we stayed was 2605. The owner was not friendly and not very helpful. No towels, No ice, nothing in the apartment when we got there at midnight, except some toilet paper. The owners brought us some stained towels the next late morning, then clean ones the nest day. The water is not drinkable (ever). The place was superficially clean. WiFi went out and came back again.The pool was under major repair starting the month before, and we never got to use it. We asked for a discount and they told us we could leave if we want and they had other people ready to stay there. Very rude, had my wife in tears. We went for a wedding and toured around. We had some terrific restaurant food. The major downside of Cartagena is, EVERYWHERE you go, there are peddlers shoving things in front of your face trying to sell you something. I would NOT recommend Palmetto ELIPTIC, apt 2605. There are so many other good choices. R
Pool is ok, if you can get in. A very annoying man with a wooden stick denies all excess if you don't wear an annoying wrist band. Even if he knows you are in the hotel!
Rooms are clean but ready for renovation, facilities are what to be expected of a simple apartment complex.
The rooms are clean. The pool is nice. But they are very unfriendly and not helpfull at all! Nobody wants to help or do something. We just had one key for three people and we where not able to leave the key at the lobby. It was inpossible to leave the luggage after check out. Exhausting!
Everything went from bad to worse at these apartments and culminated with me in tears. We booked an apartment for 6 people online, and when we got there exhausted after 5 days on a boat, they had no record of our booking (we had even paid a deposit). They said there was nothing they could do (what actually do they have computers for??) and the Wifi wasnt working, so we went to a coffee shop with my laptop to find the online receipt as proof. When we were taken up to the apartment it was filthy, plates and dishes everywhere so we had to wait around as it was cleaned. For full price apartments, the Wifi never worked, the oven, stove top, blender and hot water also didnt work. Because it was otherwise comfortable we booked for 2 more nights which we were told would be fine but we would have to change apartments. The next morning we waited until checkout time (12) but were told the apartment wasnt ready, so we took all our stuff and groceries and had to put them in storage instead, okay thats fine a bit annoying but we can deal with that. we returned at 3 and were told it wasnt ready, and that they didnt know where our bags were so we couldnt get our swimmers. are they lost? no information. So we came back at 4, then at 5, and by this stage the receptionists were being rude while we were still being patient and polite. At 5:30 we checked in, and found there were actually only 4 beds for the 6 people, so while paying full price for a 6 person apartment we had one person on a couch and another on a little mattress. There was still no Wifi, no hot water, no towels and no toilet paper and they didnt bring sheets for the extra beds. That night we asked repeatedly by calling and going down to reception if we could at least have toilet paper and towels,(2 in our group were sick so really needed toilet paper) and were constantly told yes soon in 10 minutes, never happened, then "sorry the person that arranges that has gone home, youll have to wait until 8 in the morning until they start". Crazy. So we waited, and next morning still nothing - so we couldnt shower and had to go to the shop to buy our own toilet paper. the next day we wanted to explore cartagena so we left before 8 and were told it would all be fixed when we arrived back. At 4pm we returned and nothing had been done. How hard is it to get toilet paper and towels??? Apparently so hard that after much rudeness from reception I was reduced to tears in the lobby - only then did anything happen, with after other guests trying to comfort me and find out what was wrong, we finally got 3 towels and one roll of toilet paper. Still no hot water, no proper apology, we didnt get any discount even though the room was short beds, hot water, wifi AND we were forced to check in 5 hours late. And they charged us $30 for cleaning for the first room. Incredibe. We are really polite and patient people and have never had an experience this bad before. Worst apartments ever. We moved to Puerto Azul a few doors down which was a bit more expensive but everything worked and the owner was LOVELY.
El apartamento es bastante amplio, nos quedamos en el piso 3204 y contaba con una maravillosa vista en ambos costados, en edificio cuenta con un ascensor del la entrada al Lobby y 3 ascensores del Lobby a todos los pisos, cuenta con salón de eventos, piscina que en una ocasión la encontramos sucia, un gimnasio que necesita bastante mantenimiento, en el piso M hay una tienda cuenta con bastantes productos, lo necesario, y una oficina donde tienen varios pisos que son arrendados por inmobiliaria, es una zona demasiado turística.
El apartamento cuenta con 2 habitaciones 2 baños cocina con pocos utensilios de cocina, una lavadora que no se encuentra en buen estado, hay bastantes cucarachas y cuando llegamos al apartamento olía demasiado a veneno, el aseo lo hacen diario pero solamente barren, cosa que puede hacer el huésped, además el apartamento quedó impregnado por el humo a cigarrillo del otro apartamento, la ventana de uno de los baños estaba destapada y cuando te metías a bañar los obreros de la construcción de al lado podían verte, las sabanas las cambiaban el personal del hotel muy de vez en cuando. Duré un mes y solo hubo dos cambios tanto de sábanas como de toallas, los aires estaban presentando muchas fallas y no cuenta con agua caliente, para las personas que les gusta. Los ascensores casi siempre están sucios por la cantidad de gente que entra en ellos o presentan también muchas fallas por exceso de peso.
