It was a pleasant surprise to stay in Cyro. Hotel looks very new, my room was clean and cleaned daily, at the reception there is alway an open little coffee lounge, the breakfast is awesome combination of hot and cold czech food. I stayed there 3 days and have NO complains. The staff was friendly, spoke few languages. Within 5 min you could walk into middle of old town of Brno. I would recommend to everybody. I paid double for much less at Prague airport.

Loved the hotel and service/employees were amazing. A great experience. Room was a bit warm on the hot days. Only thing that would make it better is air conditioning in the rooms.

Description of Hostel Jacob Brno - Brno

Location.
Conveniently near the airport in the heart of Brno, Hostel Jacob Brno is close to Brno National Theatre, Brno Trade and Fair Centre, and Masaryk University. Also nearby are Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Paul and Spilberk Castle.

Property Features.
A complimentary breakfast is served each morning. In addition to laundry facilities and coffee/tea in the lobby, Hostel Jacob Brno features an elevator (lift). Wireless Internet access is complimentary in public areas. This is a smoke-free property. A total renovation of this property was completed in August 2012.

Guestrooms.
Rooms have city views. The 6 guestrooms at Hostel Jacob Brno include washers/dryers and minibars. Complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access is provided. Guests share bathrooms and amenities include makeup/shaving mirrors, hair dryers, and complimentary toiletries. We were only in town for about 12 hours, so I can't speak to anything about its location, but the place is spotless, the atmosphere was phenomenal as... far as the other people staying there and the service was impeccable. There was a slight misunderstanding about the room (due to an accidental crossing of paths with the owner) but he was really great about it and did more than was necessary to fix the problem when we checked out. The hostel jacob is the best hostel i have stayed in ,it is spotlessly clean and has been newly decorated throughout. The staff are friendly and helpfull. The location is right in the centre of town with pubs restaurants and clubs right on the doorstep. hostelling as it should be.
