"Delightful area and Inn"
I liked the Inn but the room had twin beds and these were not comfortable for me. The heating system was difficult to control, the thermostat in the room did not respond to adjustments. The room was too hot the first night and too cool the second. The staff has abreviated hours at the front desk, but overall the Inn is very nice. Tastefully decorated […] and updated. The food was excellent but the wait staff in the restaurant were inexperienced and did not recite specials. The chef is excellent, the food very tasty. I loved the breakfast. "Very reasonable, and a great hot morning breakfast"
This was the closest place to Franklin Pierce University. The rate was great! The hot breakfast included with the stay was fantastic! The Inn is creeky, but it's an old building and part of the charm. Don't order a hot fudge sundae - there is no hot fudge (just chocolate sauce, which is very different, and disappointing). "Beautiful Inn with a friendly staff"
The room was clean, the service was friendly and the food was decent (stay for the breakfast, go out for dinner). There is a full dinning room and bar open in the evening but there is better food to be hard in the surrounding towns. The surrounding area (neighborhood) was beautiful and Rural without being more than 5 minutes from the nearest town. It […] was a short (15-20 minute) drive into 3 or more surrounding towns, one of which (Keene) contained a state college and a larger number of businesses and restaurants. Our room was on the third floor and we had issues with all 3 of the wi-fi networks on some of our devices. Cell service in the area was also inconsistent in strength and reliability.
