The Grand is a beautiful hotel located outside of the city center in Luang Prabang. The grounds are gorgeous and the hotel overlooks the river. Staff was very friendly and eager to please. Wifi connection was almost nonexistent so don't rely on it, but there are two desktops available for free in the main lobby. Overall, the stay here was great but the hotel is quite far from the center of Luang Prabang and the tourist area so if you want to be in the middle of the action, this place isn't for you. However, the place is quite beautiful and tranquil and the free shuttle to town (they give you a schedule when you check in) almost makes up for the distance.

Location.
Situated in the heart of Luang Prabang, Burasari Heritage is close to Golden City Temple, Night Market, and Phu Si. Also nearby are Royal Palace and Royal Palace Museum.

Hotel Features.
In addition to room service (during limited hours) and dry cleaning/laundry services, Burasari Heritage features a pool table. For a surcharge, guests have access to a roundtrip airport shuttle (available on request).

On little issue: you have to pay extras right away, you cannot... charge to the room and pay when checking out. The hotel is one block of the main road, on a mostly quiet street facing the river.
