"Deceived by website"
This hotel is quite expensive. Around 350 USD a night. I booked according to the WEBSITE OF THE HOTEL AND MY PAPER RESERVATION a deluxe rom with a KING SIZE bed At check in they told me all their deluxe rooms were queen size bed instead of a king and if I wanted a king bed I would have to pay more and go for the suite!!!! Complained and they said: […] we are sorry, that's a website mistake. What?????? So what on that is my problem? Why do myself as customer, have to foot the wrongness of the website that responds for the hotel in question? They offered me a champagne bottle. Really?? Laughed it off and told them I don't want any champagne, just want THE SERVICE THAT I PAID FOR and not actually getting it. Stay away of you want to sleep in a good bed. The "QUEEN" size was just 2 single beds put together. Really a scam! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Nice Hotel, good price."
Great service, nice rooms. Small rooftop pool with limited room. If staying Friday night be aware the restaurant is kosher so only set price is available for a buffet dinner as the kitchen is closed. Free parking for Friday night/Saturday. Good spa services with reasonable prices for a nice 30 minute massage.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Functional but not great"
Don't stay in this area unless you really need to. There is so many other areas that are both nicer, safer and that has more things to do. The design of the hotel is ok, the restaurant is actually really nice. The roof top pool is also ok but not fantastic. The standard room with queen size bed had nice looking furniture and a comfortable bed, I stared […] in to another close by building however which made me keep the curtains closed at all times. OK the rooms are small. OK the district isn't the best. I have stayed at the Crowne plaza and the Intercontinental in Tel Aviv BUT I will try and stay at the Indigo next time. Nice furnishing,Friendly staff and a fantastic pool,Bar and restaurant on the roof. Food was really nice my only wish would be that there were a bit more choice up there or the same as the downstairs. Wonderful views over Tel Aviv. Not everybodys choice I can understand but for me ,I thought it ticked all the boxes. Might have expected an upgrade as a platinum member but still had a great room on the 4th floor.
"Great hotel, in a dodgy location"

As a regular business traveller to Israel I am am generally underwhelmed by the hotels I stay in. The Hotel Indigo is the first hotel I've stayed in in Israel where I've been impressed. Ramat Gan the area the hotel is in is a bit seedy, but the hotel itself is peaceful, and comfortable. The rooms are small but well appointed. Really nice bathrooms. The Wi-Fi is quite slow, but its free so I can't complain. Service at breakfast is a bit slow but other than that a great hotel.
"Nice hotel, small room, good breakfast"

I stayed here four four nights on business in Tel Aviv, and I think it is a pretty good hotel for business, but I probably would not come here on holiday. The rooms are small (regardless of what the hotel management have said in reply to this, trust me, the rooms are small), but, very nicely designed. Most importantly (and I cannot stress this too much), the air conditioning is quiet, and does not switch off during the night as in some other hotels. The bed is comfortable, and the pillows are OK (but no better than that). There is adequate wardrobe space for one person for a week, but no more. The bathroom is modern (shower only) and everything works. The shaving mirror is particularly good. Breakfast is good. In Israel, I judge the breakfast by the Shak-shouka, and it was well cooked here. I have not eaten any other meal here, so I cannot comment on the rest of the cuisine. There is a rooftop bar and pool area, and like some other reviewers, I was surprised at the size of the pool - it is for kids and paddling only! But the setting is great, with views of the Diamond district and Tel Aviv. However, be warned, a beer is 30NIS! I advise you to enjoy the view ... and drink in the street. There is a dining area here also, but I wonder if they too add a supplement for the view! Again, like other reviewers, I was surprised at how small the public spaces are. I never experienced the dining room full, but it is not large, and I suspect those people who found that it could not cope when the hotel is full we're probably right (I would be interested to see if the management have a comment). I found the service to be excellent, i.e. efficient and friendly. For example, I asked for the nearest Bank Hapoalim, and was given good directions; more importantly, there was a problem with the air conditioning, and someone came within 5 minutes and fixed it! Nearby the hotel are several low-cost dining outlets (sushi, falafel, pasta) but I have not yet found a more upscale restaurant. There is also an interesting bar just opposite. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for business travellers. Certainly, this side of the Ayalon freeway is a lot nicer than the other side!

The hotel's location is not so ideal but not bad either. The building looks nice from the outside and the lobby is very arty. The check in was quick although the person was not very pleasant and did not understand English very well. The room was smaller than expected but that was not so much a problem. The smell in the hallway was horrendous, it went away the next day. There was a similar smell coming from the sink every time I used. There was a lot of noise coming from the hallway, bad sound proofing. The bed was not well made, it looked like the sheets were just thrown on the bed without being tucked. One of the body towels had dark stains... I ordered room service twice. The pasta was not very nice but the salad was great. The person who came to deliver the food were very friendly.
"Great service, but rooms too small !"

The service in the hotel has improved, which surprises me ! as it was always good, I have stayed here a few times since my last visit. the restaurant is great, the room is very comfortable, but small, this time and a few other times I had a room that was comfortable in size, but really these rooms are too small if spending any time in the room, and I was alone ! swimming pool is really way too small.
"Thanks Indigo for a Perfect Vacation"

What a gorgeous hotel! Loved the design. We got to the hotel a bit early after a long flight from Los Angeles, so the concierge quickly made sure we were comfortable and brought us to the rooftop pool with drinks. Amazing view. The modern themes in the rooms gave a great vibe, which made our vacation even more romantic, my girl friend didnt want to leave :) There's a wonderful restaurant on the first floor where we had a delicious breakfast, great produce they got in Israel. Convenient taxi service at the hotel, less then 10 minutes to the beach. Overall the hotel and service made our vacation perfect. Will definitely return.

"Very nice ambience and close to Tel Aviv center"
Small but well decorated rooms, very nice bathroom, well above average breakfast, very nice restaurant with exquisite food and service, and rooftop glassed with swimming pool and open view of the city. Plus intercontinental points that also count if you stay in the hotel chain elsewhere. Recommended!
"Great hotel!! "

My wife and I, we stayed at the hotel during Passover. First of all the price was excellent, service and cleanliness beyond expectations. Excellent food (Kosher for Passover) and pool with spectacular views all the Dan region. Hotel location a bit problematic (requires travel by car or taxi to Tel - Aviv) but not underestimating the hotel and vacation experience. The refrigerator in the room a little disappointing and problematic that it is impossible to cool drinks or food from outside. Small gym but very satisfying. Great atmosphere! Great crew. Most recommended.
"Chic, modern hotel in so-so location"
05/22/14 CPRX Vancouver, Canada
Stayed 1 night in May 2014. Pros: - Entire hotel is designed beautifully in a chic, modern style similar to W Hotels. - Pool was beautiful but busy - Service was good, but not excellent - Free alcoholic drink during stay (ask the front desk) - Free luggage storage - Good bathroom toiletries provided Cons: - Would describe it generally as a hotel trying to be like a W Hotel, but of lower quality and with fewer amenities and perks. - Location was not central to anything, so inconvenient for getting to tourist sites and transportation. No good restaurants, grocery stores, etc. nearby. Seems like an area that is just starting to be developed. - Noisy in hallways from doors opening and closing, other guests not speaking respectfully with lowered voices in hallways, and construction outside (bring ear plugs!) - Breakfast was not included - Upstairs lounge is not open at night, even for an evening drink - Free shuttle to the airport, NOR to any sister hotels closer to tourist sites is included - Nowhere to freshen up (e.g., shower) while room is being prepared Overall: Would likely not stay at Hotel Indigo in Tel Aviv again. For similar rates, one can stay at much better located hotels with similar amenities and breakfast included.
