I like the hostel overall. The only complain would be that they had no rules about making noise at night. people hanging out in the common area were very loud which continued until 2 am sometimes!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not that good"

"Was a good place!"

Its a cold hostel. the building is nice , location is more less good near the park chapultepec, but in front a noisy avenue. They need more effective maintainance at bathrooms. Private rooms are pricy for what they offer. The people at administration are not very honests making business. Lack of water and gas. At condesa are ther are 4 more hostels with more people. They need to change many things.
Location is everything! Price is quite fair. Don't expect luxurious details. It offers the basic stuff you'll need. Its great for young people and a short stay. If you want to feel young and adventurous again, this is the perfect place for you in Mexico City.
"A hostel in Condesa"

This is a hostel located at Condesa neighbourhood. with walking distance to metro chapultepec and metro Juanacatlan. There's parque mexico and parque españa just a few blocks away. The hostel has a good ambience and good design and nice bed too. The hostel is also close to nightlife area. But nobody cares when the guest were making noise in the midnight. And the staff were not that friendly. While I stayed there I was lucky to be in their promotion week which is half price! I stayed there for a week.

We stayed here for 2 nights that seemed to last way longer!, small hotel, good location but very rudimentary one, we had a private room and it feels that the walls are paper-thin, you can hear people talk 2 stories below, just be glad if they dont have a backpacker`s party because you wont be sleeping. Not so clean micro-bathroom, but at least they do have hot water, there is no AC although in Mexico city it`s not such a big deal (it is for me). The bottom line: I wouldnt stay here again!
"Location is great but the rooms are not"

We stayed in a room with bathroom for five nights. There was almost no ventilation and the bathroom was extremely small. The floor was dirty and we found hair in the shower. Over all this is a loud and not very clean hostel, but it's located in a great neighbourhood, the breakfast is good and the staff is nice. I'd say we got what we payed for, but next time we'll try to find a cleaner place.
"Wonderful place to stay in Mexico City!"

Friendly staff and personal, yummy breakfast included, and located in a great part of the city!...I stayed there for nearly two weeks and didn't grow bored of places to see and things to experience. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to see the beauty that Mexico City has to offer!!

Courtyard design of hotel means that doors opening and closing are loud and echo. Breakfast was not the best. The room we had the first night had a broken and locked door and we had to climb in through the window, not the biggest problem for us but the "key guy" didn't show up for a full day after we were told he would come. Staff was not necessarily inhospitable but didn't do anything to be super friendly or welcoming. Biggest plus was walking distance to Condesa's bars and restaraunts. Okay as a home base in DF but nothing special.

The Stayinn has got to be one of the best values in all of Mexico City. It is a very hip, well-located, clean, comfortable and inexpensive location to rest your head for a couple days. It's close to the subway, walking distance to both the fantastic Parc Chapultepec and the Condesa neighbourhood which is where you want to be for restaurants and nightlife. The hostel draws a mature, well-traveled crowd and you won't have to deal with much loud, drunken, boisterous nights here. Thankfully.
"Great little hotel in an excellent location"

Although it is kind of a backpackers place, it also is an excellent option if you like your own, private room. My room was spatious, with just about all the (interesting, hip) furniture you need, not too much, not too little. Very good price for this expensive neighbourhood and as said before, superfriendly, service minded staff. Good internet connection, very clean, hot water, decent beds and all together just a nice, positive atmosphere. Rony C.
"AN EXCELLENT OPTION FOR SHORT AND SIMPLE STAYS"

Cozy, and with a very hispter look, makes you feel welcome 24/7 Sharing room with strangers from various countries makes it even more interesting Everything is always clean and the food from the little restaurant in the lobby is AWESOME! reasonable price for a place in this neighborhood (expensive zone)
