Third visit to this apart-hotel on the last week of December. Quiet surroundings, a supermarket and a take-away Indian restaurant next door, a 5-10 minute walk to the beach and the port with very nice restaurants and cafes. No nightlife whatsoever, which is one of the reasons we keep coming back. Excellent breakfast buffet with custom omelettes and fresh fruit. Pretty steep hill means no sunshine on the terrace in the morning. Not all pools are heated, which make them pretty cold in December. Working Wifi. No complaints on quality of service or location. The bathroom is starting to show some signs of wear, but nothing disturbing. Will definitely be coming back for a short do-nothing practicality-over-style unwinding break.

Hotel staff were friendly, although not fluent in English. Location is perfect and you can easily take a city bus to airport, or to Old Town, or to Las Canteras Beach. Spa facilities are a bit worn down, but staff is excellent and very helpful.

The Don Miguel was a most confortable and convienent hotel. The staff was the best and the dining experience was excellent. I would definitely recommend it too all my friends. I look forward to the next time I am in the country for an extended stay there.

The reason we choose this hotel was because we had to catch a plane at 8AM and it was promoted that there was a van service to take us to the airport, but what was not comunicated before was that there was no service early in the morning so we had to pay 20 euros for a taxi.

huge apartment rooms with spacious balconies. downside is hotel doesn't face the ocean. front desk wasn't too knowledgable when we asked questions but we were able to figure everything out. Amenities were great!
