The staff was very nice and flexible. when we received the room (which is part of apartment that modified to 4 BB rooms) we sensed smokiness in the room and the staff do his best to over come this issue. breakfast is coffee and cake in near coffee shop but it is nice. over all the room and the location was good to our weekend vacation in Rome.

We found Rental in Rome here on Hotels.com and decided to reserve a room for myself and my 18 year old son as we completed a two week tour of Europe. It was only a couple of blocks from the Roma Termini Train Station which was great since we arrived by train. Had we known how close it was we would have walked, luggage & all. It is also located a short […] walk from the Colosseum and Forum ruins and right down the street from the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore - nice place to start your tour. It is in a busy neighborhood but plenty of cafe's close by and a couple of markets for groceries. Note that Rental in Rome is between the 4th and 5th floor elevator stops in the building. There is another "hotel" on the second floor so don't get confused. You'll want to have the front desk attendant (Sarah, who was raised in London so English is her first language - very friendly and helpful) meet you in the lobby as you'll need their key to operate the elevator. The lobby is very clean & updated with an espresso maker, microwave and fresh fruit in the lobby. Breakfast is provided at a nice cafe just up the street consisting of a croissant and coffee - nice selection of croissants. The room was very clean and decor contemporary, with good light - not much of a view but that was okay by us. Although in a busy neighborhood we never heard any outside noise. Bathroom was generally very nice although the shower was a little small but adequate. Overall, for the money, a great deal. Read more

Overall very please with our stay. We did a very short trip but the staff was very accomodating and the location is really convenient. The room was good and very clean. The only small drawback was there was some street noise from the cars but we were so tired we hardly noticed. I would deinitely recommend this place.

I recently stayed for 2 nights in this B&B. The staff was helpful and friendly, the location was great, only 15 minutes on foot from the Colosseo, in a lively neighbourhood. The room was clean, nice bathroom with the usual Italian bidet. The air-conditioning wasn't working properly and it was 35 °C outside, the fridge wasn't cold, the non-flat TV needing […] a reboot from time. Neighbours are noisy. Oh and this shouldn't be called a bed & breakfast as the close-to-inexistent breakfast (just a coffee and a croissant) was offered outside of the place, in the bar nearby. Parking was easy. For what we paid, sure, this place was absolutely fine. However, the reviews and rating on this website are deceiving. The room was clean, and the location is fantastic - you're steps away from a metro line, and about a 5-10 minute walk to Termini station. The problems we had with the place were the tiny (really, tiny) shower, and no pressure in the […] shower, either. You might as well have been giving yourself a sponge bath, or using a sink to wash yourself. As well, there's no real service - you just get a room, the keys, some explanation on how to use the keys, and that's it. Again, it's to be expected with the price we paid, but still a little bit surprising that no one was ever at the desk. The hotel is actually an apartment building, and there's no signage, either, so at first we went up to the Hotel Oriente, thinking maybe the name had changed. They informed us that it was two floors up. There is a lift, but you need a key to get up, so we walked up the six flights of stairs to get to the room - which was fine, because we travel light, but I'm sure others would have some problems with that. The breakfast included was at a cafe next door, which was very convenient and nice. Overall, though, I'm not sure you can call it 3 or 4 stars - it's at the most a 2.5 star experience for similarly priced places I've stayed in Rome. Read more

Ho soggiornato per tre notti al Rental in Rome e sono rimasta soddisfatta. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, soprattutto se come me si cerca di spendere poco! La posizione dell'hotel è molto comoda, anche se il quartiere non è tra i più belli della capitale (5min a piedi da Termini e due passi dalla fermata della metropolitana Vittorio Emanuele). Perfekt beliggenhed i forhold til Termini (banegården), hvorfra der går express toge til Fiumicino lufthavnen - kun 5 minutters gang herfra. Derudover rigtig god beliggenhed i forhold til Colosseum og Piazza Venezia (5-10 min. gang). Rental in Rome er en seng med privat bad og toilet, pænt rengjort, god service og er rigtig godt til prisen.

Fin beliggenhet, ca. 10-15 minutters gange utenfor ringen av severdigheter i sentrum. Da får man heller tåle at standarden på rommet ikke er av aller høyeste kvalitet (overrasket over at tremannsrommet vi sov på var like lite som det vanlige tomannsrommet). Man får frokostkort til en kafé i samme gate, som kun serverer en kaffe og en søt bakevare. Vil […] du ha mer, må du betale. Og stedet er servicemessig full kaos, men det gjelder de fleste steder i Roma. Pass på å få et rom mot bakgården, ettersom det er støyete trafikk og tuting ut mot veien. Bitteliten heis som kan ta 2-3 personer opp i fjerde etasje. Men dette er småting. Kan absolutt anbefale hotellet for dem som ønsker rimelig hotell i nærheten av sentrum. Read more

Et typisk gjennomsnittlig hotell til storby å være. Bra service og bra beliggenhet trekker opp. Pris helt ok. I forhold til stjernerangering ligger det mellom nivå 2 og 3, sammenliknet med en rekke andre steder jeg har vært i Europa.
