We loved the hotel. We had a lovely large room in a garden like setting. The kitchenette was very convenient. It was a 20 minute drive to downtown Wellington and the interislander ferry. Free internet was provided up to a download limit. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We needed an overnight stay before catching an early morning ferry crossing. Upon checkin we were given accurate and helpful information about the commute in to the ferry terminal, and suggestions for dining nearby. The room was comfortable, with a kitchenette, the only thing lacking was a kitchen sink, but it appeared that there was new plumbing to address this problem. More than we expected for our budget friendly rate.

great place to rest and forge the world. even with a big party around, i heard NO noise. Good tv channels but must organize the internet to reach far rooms. I can stay there again, but they need to have breakfast and perhaps a gym room. But to sleep and rest , it is a good place.

It is in the center of the city. Everything is within walking distance. The employees were more than helpful in planning my bus to my next destination. Everyone was very nice.

We found the hotel to have one of the best locations where we could wall to anywhere in the city. Just up the road from Courney place nightlife and most... of the restaurants in town. Close to Te Papa, Theatres and not far from the Beach. The hotel was within a gentle walk down to the shops the cable car to walk around the botanical gardens or onto the train station and ferry to move farther afield. The apartment itself was good quality, with enouigh space and a view of the harbour (though not an immediate/close one). Plenty of facilities - eg toaster. Reception was less effective - our booking was listed in the name of Expedia! - and often not manned.

I dont understand the 4 star rating. Had a king bed that was actually 2 single beds pushed together - the join is very uncomfortable. I would expect half decent coffee and tea making facilities in a 4 star - to say it was distinctly average would be the best comment I could muster. All was ok except the electric jug was not working. after a hectic meeting came back to room for a coffee but to find the jug was not working.the maids should have checked it while servicing the room

Nice looking hotel with modern presentation and fair value. Only thing was the bed was hard and very uncomfortable and the street noise along with the internal hotel noise was shocking! Definitely not somewhere to stay if you enjoy a quiet nights sleep.
