The location is good. It is next to the subway, train,street cars and bus stop. It is easy to get to the down town or the castle from there. One big compliant is that on Hotel.com and the hotel web site it advertises the pool area. I went there for the first time 2 years ago and was told it was under repair. Returned 4 times since over a two year period and still no pool. One of the staff members told me there are no plans to repaired the pool. Fine but it should be taken off the advertisement.

My second hotel stay in Budapest. Great place, clean, comfortable great service. I'll probably look for another next time, because Wifi was like $25 a day. C'mon! Its actually free at the pub across the street. Anyway, I stayed here because I felt like I got a good deal on the room, and its near a good shopping area. They do have great meeting facilities if you have a business group. Great views of the Chain Bridge and Palace!

We spent two nights here. Everything was great except the wifi was very spotty, close to nothing, in our room. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Room was big and the bathroom was decent size as well.

Location.
Situated in the heart of Budapest, Connection Guesthouse is within walking distance of Franz Liszt Academy of Music and Hungarian State Opera House. Also nearby are St. Stephen's Basilica and Hungarian National Museum.

Hotel Features.
In addition to a rooftop terrace and multilingual staff, Connection Guesthouse features tour/ticket assistance. Wireless Internet access is available in public areas (surcharges apply) and a computer station is located on site. Additional amenities include laundry facilities and tour assistance. For a surcharge, guests have access to a roundtrip airport shuttle (available on request). The property has designated areas for smoking.

Good place to stay for the price, breakfast was good for 6 euros and it was on good location, my only concern was there was no air conditioning and it was very hot, also there is a bar in front of guesthouse , if you open window it can be very noisy,otherwise it was good

Really lovely hotel - feels like a real personal experience! The staff gave great recommendations and the rooms were really stylishly decorated. The location was perfect, really central so meant it was easy to walk to everything. Great stay, would definitely stay here again!

j’étais très choqué par quand j'ai rentré, car c'est un hotel à l’intérieure d'une ancienne résidence (porte degradé), mais une fois à l’intérieure, j'ai changé mon avis, ces très propres, tres jolie, avec un personnelle super sympathique, et l'emplacement est idéal, tout ca pour un budget tres intéressant.

Hotel, staff and location are great, but there was quite a lot of noise from the street, a night club just outside and a churchbell that rung for something like 5 min at 6:00 AM every day. If you are not very noise sensitive this is a great place to stay!
