Lincoln Motel - Pasadena

The mattress was way too hard, felt like I slept on a brick. I've slept on mattresses at motel 6 that are way more comfortable for about the same price. The water in the shower was freezing cold, I could not get warm water no matter what.

Disgusting all round. Yucky mirror on the wall next to the bed;grimy carpet.; worn out furniture. A hole in the wall;Smelly bedcovers and pillows Didn't want to touch the filthy , dusty air con. The Lincoln motel is a fairly low-rate motel, which looks like has seen better days. The room wasn't particularly clean, nor was the bed comfortable. That said, for the purposes of a quick, cheap room to get a quick night's sleep, particularly for the location, it gets the job done (and the manager was rather accommodating).

Ok place to stay. We had requested a room with two beds. When we arrived, they said they no longer had a room with two beds, so the owner gave us two single rooms without changing the price. Felt this was fair. One room had a fridge, which was nice. It was clean inside, but looked a little worn in some places. The Lincoln Motel is not in a good part of the town of Pasadena, so a guest doesn't feel very safe staying there. However,we found that the hotel staff was very friendly and kind. Our room was clean, had a Vizio TV that worked, and it had a good bed with a firm mattress and clean sheets. There were, however, some disappointing aspects. The hotel was in a decent area. Parking is limited. The bathroom was newly remodeled which was nice although they installed the toilet wrong or something because every time you sit it would shift. Had good working AC. Big closet. Nice tv. Would definitely stay here again for the price.

Blue walls? Seriously? Do a little research before picking a paint color, and pick for your customers, not for yourself. And don't start the construction in adjacent rooms prior to the 10 am checkout time on a Sunday. A cheap motel doesn't have to be a palace - no one cares about the perks when they're just staying overnight to avoid a long drive home […] and back. But seriously - it doesn't take a lot of money to make a place look like it's NOT a dive. It takes homework - research - professional advice! And finally, women in this country do travel alone. Not all of us are ladies of the evening, so don't ask twice "how many". It's insulting. If the online registration says 1 guest, then there's just one person staying. Plusses: Few. large TV, apparently clean sheets. Quiet. AC worked well. Negatives: Door not self locking, no end table light, main light bare fluorescent bulb, no tissues, no ice bucket, no ice onsite, trash for furniture, no hangers. Could not determine floor or bath tile cleanliness, as both are almost black (dirt or intended?). Thought I was in […] a third world motel. They said they are remodelling, but I wonder about that, based on the appearance of their own rooms, just off the office being a mess, too. The motel was having renovations done on it while I was there. Was in town only for 2 days so didn't want to spend a lot of money. The room was basic. the carpet was clean and the bed was clean and they had a flat screen tv. The only really concerning issue was the bathroom. I think whoever painted it didn't even remove the towels from the towel rack […] as their were paint splatters on the tub and on a couple towels. The tub was kind of gross and there were what looked like cigarette burns on it as well. I guess I did not get the newly remodeled rooms yet. Overall, location was perfect. Right next to the I-210 and it was a quiet neighborhood and there was no concern of theft or any other mischievous behavior. Fine for somebody in town for a day or two but definitely not a destination hotel when staying in the LA area. Read more

I was made to feel very welcome by the owners and there was nothing wrong with the room we stayed in except maybe a shortage of hot water. If you're looking for a cheap, bare bones room for one night then this is certainly worth a look.
