This place IS as bad as these reviews say...I was quite prepared to give it a go....we did....unfortunate for me I was taken to hospital with a kidney stone on first day there so avoided it for one night as i was kept in, the staff over this matter were most helpful and friendly, however the room...OMGGGGG the room, was the worst thing I can ever imagine so much so i was going over my life in my head wondering what I was being punished for now!!!! 2 windows in the room both wiuth iron bars, dont have a prob with the iron bars really as it deterrs any breakins as a rule but the view HELL the view was a ped stain wall about 6 ft from our window and that was it....we were on 3rd floor which is underground so it wouldd seem cos every morning i didnt know what the weather was doing until we went up for a coffee (which is lovely if u get the right person make it)....end of the day, WE MOVED to luxury compared to this hovel....location is OK ish but there are LOADS better places for CHEAPER prices....Loret is a lovely place and we will return, albeit to nowhere near Monjardi!

This is such a bad hotel its student based its so noisy the apartments are untidy you sit on the chairs and they wobble its on top of a hill my dad was in a wheelchair so we had to get him to climb the stairs and the reception dont speak english so its very hard trying to describe things in spainsh.

One word that best describes this place is horrible. I have never been at a worser place than this and I have been at a few. It is like Fawlty Towers but without the humour. Outrageous prices, terms, and receptionists. Mildew on walls with sigarette smoke makes an interesting twist. Great for the walking deads though who do not need to sleep at night.
"Such a nice place."

I was a bit worried coming here after readin the reviews! There is nothing what so ever to be worried about, It is such a lovely place to stay, so safe and secure.. The staff are amazing, so helpful, friendly and kind. The bar food is also really nice and very cheap considering the prices down town! It is really close to the night life, beach, bars and restaraunts, yet far enough away that you can't hear the craziness! I wouldn't recommend it for kids tho. The rooms are very spacious, there was just 2 of us and we had 3 single beds and a sofa bed, kitchen area with table and chairs and a bathroom, just what you need! A safe is located inside the bedrooms for safe keeping! For the price we paid we had such an amazing trip! Highly recommended.

Pros: Friendly staff Close to the beach and Town centre Good value meals in bar Simple but enough equipment in the kitchen,(one exception no kettle) Cons: Lots of the apartments without a balcony Very small swimming pool To get to the apartments you need to walk lots of steps or up to steep hill Mostly used by young people, making lots of noise through the night until early morning Smell of damp No designated storage for bags if your departure is late As family of four we been asked to pay 120 euro deposit

We didn't book this apartment, but the original (Caribe Lloret) was overbooked and this was replacement. We had two apartments there, one was fine - more spacious, second not - too dark, some insect, not spacious. But last day somebody stole electronic devices from our first apartment (3 cameras, mobile phone, money, documents...). It was mistake of reception, because we gave a key there and it disappeard. I really can't recommend it.

Pros: Apartments are quite spacious. Cons: Will find entrance at the top of either 100 steps or a very steep hill. Will have to hand over 120 euro deposit when you check-in. Will be given an itemised itinerary of every item in the apartment with the replacement cost shown (from a teaspoon to a sheet to the table to the flat screen tv on the wall). Will have aircon in the living area rather than the bedroom. Will suffer building design which is an almost perfect echo chamber. Will be woken by daily shouting, screaming, banging, laughter and general chaos (which even ear plugs cannot block out) between 4.00am-7.00am as teenagers return to their apartments from the many Lloret clubs and discos. The receptionist will apologise and try to help - (but delegate any decision to her boss who is rarely onsite and totally invisible). We felt sorry for her, but even sorrier for us!! In short, this is a Club 18-30 (altho age range is between 17-22 years old) budget style apartments catering for large groups of European teenagers. If this is for you - enjoy. If not - do not even bother considering this place. We wish someone had been as blunt before we booked this bargain accommodation!

To be honest I wasn't expecting much considering the cost. On arrival we were met by the night guard who could speak no English but somehow managed to convey to us that we needed to part with a 120 Euro deposit for the room & an additional 5 Euro per person if we wanted any bedding or towels. The travel company or the website made no mention of this so it was a bit of a shock at 2am! Our room was ok. Larger than expected with a separate lounge/kitchen area to the bedroom, good water pressure in the shower (& hot water after 2 cold showers once we figured out the boiler in the kitchen needed plugging in) & the aircon worked! We went out to buy dinner for the first night only to arrive back ready to put out pizza in the oven & discover there wasn't one, just a microwave (not an oven/micro) & rusty double hob. Not really wanting to eat micro meals all week we ditched the do it yourself option & ate out. The location is ok. Far enough away from the main strip so you can feel separated from the chaos, except for the drunken revellers staggering past at all hours of the night singing & shouting. To get to the apartments requires negotiating some dark alleyways & we didn't always feel too safe. So those are the slight positives, now on to the negative which overrides everything positive. My main complaint about these apartments is that the walls/floors are paper thin. We've arrived home shattered after not having a full nights sleep the entire length of our stay what with drunken groups of revellers shouting/screaming/banging/crashing throughout the night. I guess it's part to be expected but the levels were totally unacceptable & the night guard did nothing to calm the situation. We wanted a full nights sleep the night before we were due to fly home as our flight wasn't until the evening & check out was at 10am. No chance! Our new neighbours decided to put a stop to that & when I finally had enough at 05:45 & got up to have a word my friend wouldn't let me as they sounded so drunk she was afraid they might turn on me. With no phones in the rooms to link to reception there was no choice to stick it out until the reception opened at 9am where I headed to make a formal complaint. To give them their dues the 2 staff who could speak good English were very understanding & allowed us to keep our room for the day free of charge, & for this we were grateful. Unfortunately it was too late to make amends for the fact that thanks to the selfish actions of other guests our holiday had become full of frustration & stress!

We stayed in these apartments for three nights in June and that was enough. We were given an apartment on floor number one. We had phoned a week earlier asking to be up as high as possible. Where to begin. The apartment was supposed to be for four people. There were 2 beds set up in the front room so forget moving around. There were only 2 chairs and a table so where were the other two supposed to eat. On a bed? The room stank of damp really bad and the damp was actually going up the walls and ceiling our views out of the window was a 20ft high wall literally 2 feet away so we had to have the lights on constantly. The worse and most worrying thing was that there were no fire escapes at all. If there was a fire we had no escape. People were walking out of the apartments to move elsewhere. The swimming pool was unhealthy. I travel and use cheap accomodation all the time and this by far is the worse place that I have stayed.
