The owner and staff treated us like family. Whatever we needed they took very good care of us. the room was clean and the bed was very comfy. It is nothing fancy but you can not beat the location to the beach. The beach is right across the street and there are shops, restaurants,, CVS, and coffee house within walking distance. The motel has a great location close to everything. Be aware it is a motel not a hotel. The rooms are poor furnished and not well maintained. Since it is a motel and pay much less than hotel, people are coming to drink late night and they don't care for comfort. It is kind of a noisy place.

We had a wonderful stay at Ocean Holiday Motel. The location was absolutely PERFECT without costing a fortune. The rooms were very clean and the staff very friendly. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit Fort Lauderdale.

Very nice young couple working to improve the quality of this hotel. Very convenient, off-street parking, and location could not be better. Right on the beach, and walking distance to everything. We had an oceanfront room and the view is to die for! Would definitely stay here again.

This is a one star hotel or less. Yes, I can see that they are making improvements and that with a couple of million dollars it could be a nice place. But really people, I wasn't sure I could stay there even one night and probably wouldn't if we hadn't arrived at 2 am. Windows, all interior finishes, furnishings, everything needs to be replaced. The […] staff was helpful--we called ahead because our flight was arriving so late and arranged a lock box on our door so we could get in. I don't know what would have happened if we hadn't called since the hotel isn't staffed 24/7. I was very comfortable here. Expect noise since it's on the main beach street, but it wasn't too bad when traded for convenience. Shower temperature adjustment was touchy but water was nice and hot. HVAC unit was on the loud side. Some finishes were old but everything was very clean.

Ocean Holiday Motel was a fair-priced accommodation on the congested Fort Lauderdale beach. Manager on site was very helpful during our stay. Room was cozy and clean. Better lighting in the room is needed. We were concerned that there was no security on site after 7 pm.

Was as previous reviews stated, clean but older. I booked late notice and rooms were hard to find due to cruises etc, and this one was available and reasonably priced. I was not disappointed but I will say we arrived late and the mgmt closes at 8 pm so put a lockbox on the door with the key inside. No problems. THE rooms in the hotel are nice.. you can tell they have re-done some areas in the room. At the time of our stay there was elevator work being done and concrete work on the 2nd floor deck area being done.. location great ..can easily walk to and from Beach Place area .
