I loved the area. The local shops in Nye Beach are so fun to browse. I would have loved a balcony to sit out and watch the waves but for the price, this is an alright place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. Every morning we were treated to a complete hot breakfast. That saved us so much time and money. The staff was so helpful, friendly and professional. We were surprised the mattresses were so good. They were the best ever. The attention to everything was impressive. On top of everything, we left a closet full of clothes, but they were turned in by housekeeping and are being mailed back to our home. Thank you to all at the Ashley Inn and Suites. We will be back!

It is hard to find good lodging on the coast because much of it is old and over-used. The Landing was a very pleasant surprise; clean and comfortable yet affordable. We stayed in a one bedroom suite with our daughter (and our family cat and dog) on the second floor... got some lovely pictures of sunset across the marina to the bridge from our balcony. Great location in Newport... made a perfect base camp. It has a full kitchen - even a dish washer! We will definitely return.

Welcome to Americas Best Value Inn and Suites Newport. We are a 42 room hotel located on the Pacific Coast Highway in Newport Oregon. We are 7 blocks from the beach. Stay was fine but on line it said dogs were okay up to 40 lbs. When I called to let them know we had a dog they said the limit was 30 lbs and there was... an extra fee which I was fine with but she said I was supposed to call before reserving the room but finding an actual phone # for the hotel and not some 800 # was a bit of a research project. Then in the guest book in the room it said the limit was 50 lbs. So that's three different lines I got. No breakfast just junk snacks and fruit but that is to be expected at the low rates. The room we stayed in was a bit rundown and frayed at the edges. The tenents above us were very noisy, and the thin floors allowed there noise to pass mostly unobstructed. Service was friendly and helpful, though I didn't ask for much. the beds were comfy, and the Inn is located right in town close to a grocery store and other shopping. the breakfast […] was a basic fruit and pastry affair with coffee and juice. For the price, I would probably look elsewhere, but would stay there again if options were limited. Read more

Friendly staff, came to door after hours to let us in. Very clean especially for being a pet friendly hotel. I just wish they had a pool then it would be perfect!

The room was pretty good. Size was adequate for all 7 of us, plus our dog. It could've been cleaner, the carpets were not really clean, but when I saw the vacuum that housekeeping uses, I understood why. I think they need better cleaning supplies. But the staff was soooo great! I put alot of store in customer service & the housekeeping lady was really […] nice & helpfull in regards to directions & such. The morning breakfast guy & the front desk lady were great as well, very friendly! It's a convinient location, but the walls are VERY thin, so we heard every noise our neighbors made & every car that drove by. Wasnt so bad that it ruined or messed up our stay. Read more
