Average Hotel, Great location off from US-31. Would stay there again. No complaints.

Excellent bang for the buck for an overnight or 2 nite stay.

Situated on the beach, Michillinda Lodge is in Whitehall and regional attractions include Michigan's Adventure, Muskegon Winter Sports Complex, and USS Silversides. Additional regional attractions include Pere Marquette Park Beach and Lake Express Ferry Terminal.

A most delightful departure from the hotel/motel impersonalization. Homey atmosphere (no tv or telephones exce[t in commons areas. Beautiful view of Lake Michigan set away from the hustle bustle of everyday life. The accomodations out of the 1890s and early 1900s. Extremely well kept and you feel at home as soon as you enter. "rennovations evident"
TWe went midweek after labor day so it was very quiet. This is a former estate. The main lodge has new carpets and fresh paint and furnishings.The rooms are all different from each other. The out buildings are being refurbished. The setting overlooks the lake directly so you can walk or relax on the beach. The hotel is on a beautiful location. The dining room is clean and very nice. The food was great. The atmosphere was very laid back and the activities on site were numerous. There was a white sandy beach on Lake Michigan, a pool, tennis courts, a park, basketball, and mini golf course. There was a facility for marriages or other parties. The room was […] the only area that was lacking. The bed was uncomfortable, the springs were broken, the comforter looked like it was dirty with blood or some other red substance, there was no tv in the room, and compared to the rest of the beach house feel of the hotel the room was in need of some renovation.
