Very impressed with this hotel. I prefer it to other hotels in the area rated with 4 stars. Upon entry you immediately feel that the lobby, bar area, and restaurant are a step above the other hotels in the area. The exercise room and spa are a definite plus - quite unusual for European hotels of this type. Only complaint was that there was not internet access available in the rooms during my stay. It was not a problem, because there was complimentary internet access in the public areas, which worked well. But this did seem like a shortcoming. They should correct that.

But best of all a stones throw from the nicest oldest buildings... in the middle of Bergamo's gorgeous old Citta Alta.. We would definitely stay there again next time. Man skal holde tungen lige i munden og have en skarp navigator ombord, men er man først fremme, er Il Sole virkelig centralt placeret med gåafstand til alt i den gamle bydel. Fantastisk sted. God service og mad på hotellet, men badeværelset kunne godt trænge til et forhæng og en holder til bruseren.

Super hyggeligt, autentisk, rent og meget hjæpsomt personale. God restaurant og fin morgenmad. Beliggenhed meget centralt i den gamle bydel lige ud til hyggeligt torv.
