I booked the hotel because of shuttle service from the airport. Its over priced , but this is Accra I think its a $60 room The front desk people were very nice

I enjoyed the stay... the hotels is very nice.... some trouble with billing althought I prebooked through hotels.com.

This is a new small hotel. Staff at the front desk was most helpful to ever situation. Small black out...common in Africa...was dealt with quickly. Best part of hotel is the Chinese restaurant that is attached. I live in Asia so this food was comfort food to me. Reminded me if home and I give 5 stars to the restaurant. Location is very good near many embassies. I would definitely stay again.

I've been Ll over the world in the past two years and this hotel is the hands down best one I have stayed in. The staff is amazing. The food is delicious. While eating breakfast I was talking to a man who after 10 minutes of conversation I learned was the owner, who is very approachable and involved with the day to day operations. If you plan on visiting Accra this is the place to stay! A+

I was very happy with my stay. The hotel had excellent security and was in a nice area. The restaurant had excellent food. The swimming pool was very nice. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

The Charleston hotel is not a very big hotel in terms of the amount of hotel rooms as in most establishments. However, it is big, and enormous in many other ways. Let me start with the owners and staff. I was greeted with a very warm reception that lasted my entire visit. All of the staff was first rate in their individual areas. The front desk receptionists, […] restaurant attendees, housekeeping and the owners Juliana and Charles were awesome! I must say that the owners truly rolled out the red carpet for me and each of their guest. Making it their business everyone personally feel at home. If you need help with getting around Accra, taking tours, finding directions and the exchange of currency, they are there to help! Located ten - fifteen minutes from the airport and close to most of the city attractions; made traveling convenient within reason. Let me add that the hotel is clean and secure which made resting nightly easy. I tip my hat off to the cook who prepared each meal with special care and the maintenance staff who kept the hotel running as should when the lights or the water went off. The Charleston Hotel holds its own as an extravagant place to stay. I would stay there again and most definitely recommend it to my family and friends. It was my first time staying at the Charleston , and I must say it exceeded all my expectations . The condition of the hotel is excellent, room was fresh and extremely clean , and the staff were very friendly and helpful , as was the owner whom I met. Beläget i Tesano, med närhet till snabb transport via motorvägen mot ex flygplatsen, så var detta ett riktigt fynd. Hotellet är lite svårt att hitta första gången då det ligger lite avskiljt men det är bara en fördel, lugnt och tyst område men nära till det mesta. Personalen var underbart serviceminded, rummet oklanderligt städat varje dag, såg inte […] tillstymmelse till något kryp under resan. Frukosten OK, hotellets restaurang serverade bra mat, även om det tog tid. Det enda minuset får vara poolen som inte såg speciellt ren ut - men hotellet som sådant får anses vara mycket prisvärt!!!
