      The Churchill Hotel is nice, but the new addition, where our room was, is too modern. We thought it would be more old-fashioned, because it's an old manor house. But the old part is limited to 8 luxury rooms that are probably lovely, but are above our price range.

    What a wonderful find! We received a warm welcome as soon as we arrived at the Bothy for our two night stay. The house is set in beautiful surroundings and we had an amazing view of the sunset from our window. The room was very impressive; it was massive, the bed was really comfy and the bedroom an ensuite facilities were spotless. A lovely personal […] touch was the fresh milk for tea, the fresh fruit and shortbread biscuits that were laid out for us when we arrived. The breakfast was cooked to perfection, the only criticism would be that there was too much food the first morning – we were so full! But our lovely hostess was very accommodating and prepared me a smaller, but equally delicious, portion for the second morning. The Bothy really was a home away from home, and I would visit again if I had the chance. Read more
