"Cold, wifi less, over vigilante obsessive owner"
Stayed for a night to discover Tenby on good Friday! The Room was cold and it seams like the heating is timed and only switched on at owners own discretion so the Toilet and room gets very cold. The owner is too much. At first she seams friendly but after 5 minutes she just turns to be your wrist nightmare, Seams that she had been spying on as all the time ! Every move you make she is there. Extremely expensive breakfast! NO INTERNET CONNECTION! No 3G in Tenby so at least for the price we paid we expect wifi to be working but it didint You not go back and definitely would never recommend it

"It was ok, but £20 too expensive"
80's styled room, chintzy decoration, sharp glass shelves in the shower, breakfast £11 per head on top of the price. So many other places are doing it better for less.

"Col Cold Cold but No heating"
Dissapointed as I searched online for 4 star hotel and this was found by your system- a bed and breakfast minus breakfast. Extremely cold as the heating was not switched on through the night but for 1 hour when we got in for the night at 10.00. We were out all day both days. For the price we paid there were hotels with heated rooms throughout day and night and proper reception and lounge and bars. This place is appallingly deceptive in the description and we were fooled into paying for cold experience. Please please do not book to go in unless you carry a portable heating device with you.

Not a good reception on arrival, room next to the utility/wash room, bedding not fresh, towels dirty- not washed, room & bathroom not warm enough, heating went off before 9pm, shower water only warm, hall and outside light shine in room, wi fi connection would not connect, tv limited only to freeview chanels. Breakfast extra at £11 each, very limited choices. With room rate and breakfast on top a very expensive night taking all the above into consideration.

"ok"
Sauberes Zimmer in sehr ruhiger Lage!

"Lovely night stay!"

Stayed here last night it was a really nice room very clean. Only about 5/10 minutes walk from the town centre. The lady was very welcoming and the hot tub was absolutely amazing and was very relaxing. Would definitely be going back here again:D

nice place, parking. room however was very warm, bed comfy though problem with the water. after having done a 2.4 mile sea swim, we needed a shower, but the water was stone cold. didnt have time to wait for it to heat up as we needed to get out to eat. expensive considering breakfast was not included.

"great weekend"

Had a lovely stay in a beautiful building, everything we needed, host was great, a little expensive to say there was no breakfast included and the breakfast cost was also a little steep, but we had off street parking that made up for it. We would defiantly stay here again. Host had good local knowledge.

"Idea for a short break"

Just returned from a 2 night stay at the Red Rooster. What a lovely place. The room was gorgeous - comfy bed, good quality bedding, soft fluffy towels changed each day, spotlessly clean and a warm, friendly welcome from our host, Marion. Great choices for breakfast and a convenient location for getting around Tenby and the surrounding area. What more can anyone ask for? We'll definitely stay here again when we return to Tenby

"Lush sanctuary"

This is the fourth time me and my partner have stayed here. I absolutely love staying here. Marion is such a lovely woman and is so accommodating, she is always happy to see us and is so kind. The breakfast she does are amazing and keep us full until late afternoon. I would definitely recommend trying it. We've stayed in most of the rooms available and every single one has been immaculate and comfortable. The mattresses give me the best nights sleep I've ever had and even better are the baths you can just sink into and relax. Every time we've stayed has been brilliant and it's more like a gorgeous cottage or lodge than a B&B. It's so relaxing and it's a 5 minutes walk to the main town which is brilliant but for those who fancy a taxi that only costs about 3 pound. I would recommend to everyone to stay here and I will most defientely be staying here again.

"Super Stay"

We stayed here the night of the Carten. We (plus our two dogs) had a very warm welcome from Marion. We were escorted to our room, shown how to use everything (including the spa tub) and then had a very enjoyable stay. The spa bath was much needed by my better half following a 100 mile ride and after a fish & chip supper in Tenby and a few refreshments we had a great nights sleep. Thank you Marion. See you for next year's race!

"Lovely Stay!"

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of May. We got lost on arrival and ended up ringing Marion for directions. We were greeted by her when we arrived and she was very friendly. Location About a mile from Tenby 15-20 minutes walk but up the hill which wasn't a problem for us, if it is for you then it's £3 in a cab, too cheap really so we gave them a fiver the three times we used them. Room We were in the spotlessly clean room at the end of the drive, which was very comfortable with tea, coffee and biscuits. The shower was fantastic, the ear wax loosening sort that my wife loves, we slept well every night. Marion also offered us the use of the lounge which we didn't use but it may be handy if staying longer. Wifi Only in one corner of the room but better than the rest of Tenby town centre We didn't eat but it certainly smelled good. Overall it was a pleasant stay in a very comfortable bed, we accidentally dropped the remote in the suitcase and Marion phoned to politely ask if we'd got it, I said I'd check when we got back and sure enough it was in a Suitcase I sent it the next day and Marion thanked me Would we stay again yes we would but perhaps in a bigger room.

"An odd experience"
06/03/15 Bizzz12 Worcester, United Kingdom
We had booked the room online, and were told to pay for it up front. When we arrived there was no one around the greet us, we knocked a couple of doors and no one came. After a few minutes Marion appeared and asked who we were. She had completely forgotten that we were arriving and had also got the number of nights wrong. This is not what you want to hear when you’ve just had a 3 hour drive! She left us out in the rain whilst she checked our booking. We were shown to our room and given a tour of everything we were not allowed to touch. Marion had said that they only clean rooms up until 11am, so if we were having a lie in it’s not a problem because they can clean it the next day. She also told us that we weren’t allowed to use the Jacuzzi bath after 8pm, and she also told us not to spill any water on the floor. The morning after, we’d gone out quite early on a boat trip. By the time we got back to the hotel my friend and I were completely soaked through and looking forward to having a shower. When we got back to our room the cleaner was in there (after 11am) and we asked if we could come in and have a shower. Just as one of us when getting in the shower there was a loud knock on the door, Marion told us that we had to get out of our room right away because the maid needed to clean in. She told us to go away for 15 minutes. We had nowhere to go, as this place is so out of the way and it was pouring with rain. She walked us to a nearby house where we sat on our own and waited in a freezing cold room. When we got back to our room we could find half of our belongings as they had all been moved and put away in drawers. That night when we were heading out for our evening meal, Marion shouted us from the kitchen area and told us off for leaving the room too messy for the cleaner to clean! We were very surprised, as we had left all of our items in our suitcases. The next afternoon we had some back from a day when Marion burst into the room. She was telling us off because there was a mysterious pink stain on the bed. She came and pointed out it say ‘IS THIS BOOZE?!?!?!’ obviously because we were a bit younger, she should we’d be drinking in our room (it was actually from a stick of rock!!) Marion has poured cleaning fluid all over it, so it was quite unpleasant to spend our next night in a wet bed. We had had to go and buy our own toilet rolls and we hadn’t been provided with any, and we were too scared to ask Marion! One afternoon we had come back to find that the nice ones we’d bought had been swapped with cheap nasty toilet rolls! My friend’s towel had also gone missing, and this time we felt brave enough to ask Marion upon check out, she had taken my friend’s own personal towel and washed it (probably with all her dog bedding!). It was still soaked, so we had to take a wet towel home. Also, another thing to mention is the annoying blue light that comes on every time you move in bed, which makes it almost impossible to sleep. I probably will not be staying here every again, it was one of the strangest places!! Tenby was lovely though!

"Attic room was not comfortable."
05/29/15 mitch321903 Cardiff, Australia
It is a 15 minute walk to Town Center. The attic room was not comfortable. You have to be careful not to bump your head on the beams. The tub is dangerous & there was no tub mat. Marion had a beautiful garden, but I didn't see an access for the guest.
