IN 1828 IT CHANGED ITS NAME INTO GRAN SAINT-HUBERT AND IN THE 18TH AND 19TH CENTURY IT BECAME HOTEL DE LA POSTE DUE TO PEOPLE WHO STAYED OVERNIGHT WHEN THEY TRAVELED WITH THE POST CHAISE BETWEEN ENGLAND SWITZERLAND THE NETHERLANDS AND PARIS. THE HOTEL HAS 60 COMFORTABLE ROOMS A SEMINAR ROOM A RESTAURANT AND A BRASSERIE WITH A GASTRONOMIC KITCHEN OFFERING A HIGHLY VARIED MENU AND WINE LIST. A LOT OF PROMINENT PEOPLE STAYED AT THE HOTEL AMONG THEM EMPEROR NAPOLEON III IN 1870 AND WRITERS LIKE CEES NOTEBOOM AND EMILE ZOLA ENJOYED THE SPECIAL ATMOSPHERE WHICH THEY PASSIONATELY.
