The hotel was in a nice area of town and fairly close to all of the area attractions. I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms. They looked great in the photos and exceeded my expectations. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were large, and the in-room spa was AMAZING. The staff was very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend the Tuscany Villas to anyone.

Beautiful views from the rooms. (not lake rotorua). Breakfast is a little pricey. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Peter and Tristen are wonderful hosts - friendly to a fault. Quiet neighbourhood, good location, clean rooms with spas.
Location.
Situated in Rotorua, Birchwood Spa Motel is close to Rotorua Golf Club, Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve, and Te Puia New Zealand Maori Arts and Crafts Institute. Also nearby are Redwoods Whakarewarewa Forest and Springfield Golf Club.

Great stay, handy location,wonderful Service!!! We had a lovely stay and the staff were super helpful!!! Clean and compact room. A minute drive to town and hotel is in a good almost quiet location. Bed a tad hard but all over very satisfied!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"All in all a nice stay"
We found this hotel the day we got to Rotorua as we didn't have a place to stay. It was easy to find, the rooms were really clean and comfortable. As a huge bonus it had free wifi without a 20mb or 50mb limit which was constant at other hotels in NZ.I would definitely stay here again :)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
