Crescent Lodge and Country Inn - Poconos (area)

I stayed in the Wickshire Cottage. Beautiful room. I was expecting just a queen bed with a fireplace. I got both AND an in-room jacuzzi with jets. It was a very romantic set-up. Service was great. We ordered food from their restaurant. The food was delish. Will def go back, hopefully soon!

Paradise # 1 suite. Fireplace. Roomy and romantic and discrete and peaceful. Right near pool...wish it was warm out...dinner was superb and very romantic...had lovely waitress (tall elderly woman) she was very pleasant and knowledgable about the lodge's history as well as the poconos history. We came to see a show in the area and wanted nice lodging without an exorbitant price. We researched the info provided and thought it would meet our needs. There were some in our party that required better accessibility than was provided. Our first issue was no elevator so we were upgraded to a cabin at no additional charge which we stayed in but the […] furniture was uncomfortable, the bed was to high and the commode was to low. We had a "standard" queen room; which, other than a hotel in Helsinki, was the smallest room we've ever had. It was very clean with tired decor and wicker chairs that kept snagging our clothes.

I totally enjoyed my stay here with my wife for this winter pocono get-away. The hotel has a vintage style but is very clean..rooms and bathrooms are very clean with no smell. They have flat screen TVs however they're on the small side, nontheless functional. The free continental breakfast is a plus as well.

We did enjoy our stay there. Room, though smaller then expected, was quite lovely in a quaint, old-style way. A rustic lodge not far from local attractions and shopping. Service could have been a little more attentive on check-in. Breakfast was lovely.

Everyone is soooo friendly!! We stayed in Birchwood 1 and the room is exceptional! The country breakfast is wonderful - pancakes, waffles, pastries , fruit , tea coffee, juices, eggs - we were highly impressed and the restaurant is equally wonderful. This was a clean, pretty, quiet place. The staff was helpful and pleasant we stayed in one of the cottages, not in the main lounge. The cottage was nice, the grounds are beautiful and well kept. I definitely reccomend this for couples looking for a quiet, private getaway.

The rating we gave this Lodge was based on the cottage that they upgraded us to. The room that we booked was located on the second floor and required climbing a very steep flight of stairs. The hall was poorly lit and the room was small and rustic to say the least. Since I was waiting for knee surgery the stairs would have been very difficult to deal […] with. Front desk staff were very accomdating as they had a cottage available and helped us move. The restaurant was fantastic with great food, service and atmosphere.
