We came into Bangkok to do some urgent medical care at Bumrungrad Hospital. This hotel was excellent for our needs. I choose this hotel because I had doctor appointments @ Bumrungrad Hospital, and I wanted a hotel close to it. It was so close, I could walk there in 3-4 minutes. Location, Cleanliness, Class, Food, Price, are all great. I would stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for this particular area, or otherwise.

Hotel is nice and modern. Room was well appointed and clean. 2 complimentary water bottles, mini-bar is pricey. 7-11 down the street on the corner where you can purchase the same items at a much lower price. Room service and restaurant close at 10pm, so get your order in early. I didn't know this, so I had to venture out to find food, which is about […] a 5 minute walk away. Nana's district is close by which has all sorts of entertainment and food establishments. Bumrungrad Hospital complex is less than a 5 minute walk on the same street. We selected Skyy hotel because of its convenient location to Bumrungrad hospital. We were pleasantly surprised at the how comfortable the room was. There was plenty of closet space and the walk in shower was the best part of the bathroom. The hotel staff was very attentive to our needs and kept our room nice and clean. Entrance is inconspicuous and is from the side. There is usually a bell boy there but sometimes not. You need to go to the reception on the 2nd floor and you wouldn't know this intuitively. The elevator is very dimly lit and very small. Since the bellboy escorts you, it would be a bit unnerving if you are a young female alone. The reception area was […] dimly lit and would be more appropriate in a pub than a hotel lobby. The sink in the bathroom is chic but very small. I opened the tap normally and ended up spilling a whole lot of water all around me. One needs to open it to a trickle and control the flow such that it does not spill much. Despite my best efforts, I always ended up leaving a little spill on the floor. True it can be wiped off, which I did, but it is annoying. When my wife finished checking out of the hotel at the 2nd floor reception and got into the elevator by herself, she could not get it to go to the ground floor. It was stuck. She tried various buttons to open it, ring the bell etc., but with no success. In a couple of minutes another client got in and that got her to the ground floor. My wife has multiple college degrees and if she couldn't figure it out, it can happen to others. And if the client is claustrophobic, this can be an issue. On the plus side: 1) The elevator operates by security card and hence one can imagine that it is difficult for thieves to go up to the room easily. 2) The room was pretty, even if the overall decor of the hotel is funky. Location was near bumrungrad hospital. Taxi drivers have difficulty understanding the exact location. Remember to quote the street name instead. Hotel room was clean and nicely decorated. Bed was comfortable. Showering was a torture as hot water heater keeps on and off. Room corridor was fixed with sensor and along the stretch there's only one sensor […] which was rather dark when approaching the lift down. The hotel is very close to international Burmngrad hospital , the room was big comfy and excellent staff I truely recommend it if u like to be next to the hospital. About four blocks away from Nana street which is very life street. And it's ten minutes away by taxi to reach Central Shopping Mall, MBK mall. Over all its quit and secured.

A modern, fully equipped hotel that is only a year old. The decor is thoroughly modern, and rooms are fully equipped with safe, tea/coffee and wifi at no cost. It is good value for money and conveniently located especially for visitors to Bumrungrad Hospital just behind the hotel. Plenty of food around too.
