MAX Serviced Apartments Glasgow, Olympic House - Glasgow

My husband and I were very impressed how modern, large and airy Max Serviced Apartments are. We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night and the area was nice and quiet. I would definitely stay again.

Great wee apartment right in the centre of the city with comfy bed, big bath and great kitchen. Difficulty with getting code for door until late on day due to it being a bank holiday. Also, apparently due to bank holiday, we received a text to say no loo paper for us as the delivery had not come. We did buy some round the corner which made us wonder […] why no one in the hotel could have done just that. It was generally excellent, but as they are knocking down the building next door, our building shook and to start with it was like an earthquake. I am sure it is only short lived and having spoken to the demolition gang they hope to be finished in a couple of weeks. I guess that the new build will then start so may be disruption for a while. I was given a 2 roomed apartment on the top floor. There was no problem as the lift works well all the time. I even had a roof top balcony overlooking St George's Square. The only comment I have for this visit is that the work going on demolishing the building next door does cause our building to shake and a couple of times the shake was quite violent. […] I am sure as soon as it is demolished everything will be back to normal. I was pleased with the 1 bedroom apartment after the broken items were repaired. As no-one is present on the premises, I had to leave a note and push it under the door of the 'Management Suite' not knowing if this was in fact the 'Reception'. All signs point to Reception but this is not mentioned on the llocked door. I then wanted to ask a question […] the following day and went to the Reception/management suite at 4pm as the notices advise they are open between 0930 and 1730. There was again no-one on the premises. I just feel disappointed that if you are attending for business and working all day, you are never likely to see anyone. To me, good communication is paramount and it was not good in my opinion. The manager whom I received a call from when I could not gain access to the block or get a key to my apartment, advised that Hotels.com are supposed to send a password for entry to the Apartments and give details of how to get the key for the apartment. This did not happen. Another couple arriving at the same time as me [2130], were in the same situation and we all had to wait for that call to enable us to get access. I was very pleased with the apartment and the speed at which they repaired the broken items, that was very good service, so I would book again. Read more

I was a bit apprehensive about this, as we were originally booked for another apartment in Centre of Glasgow. However we arrived slightly early than suggested booking in time, but were pleased to obtain our keys and get on with our shopping! Apartment was very nicely decorated, although could have done with a few ornaments to break the plain decor - […] apartments we are used to going to have lots of homely features. Ideal location for Queen Street Station and well within walking distance to the array of shops on offer in the Centre of Glasgow. We had a great stay at the Olympic House Apartments. Everything was great except for the check-in process. There is not a front desk or representative on site and according to the apartment manager, they are not given access to customers emails so they are unable to send instructions for the code to get into the front door, get keys, etc. Fortunately […] another person staying at the apartment helped us with this but it was a bit confusing and stressful to start our stay. Our recommendation to others staying at this apartment is to call in advance of your stay to get this information. Otherwise the apartment was in a great location and was very spacious and clean. En mycket trevlig och rymlig tvårumslägenhet mitt i hjärtat av Glasgow. Modernt kök med spishäll, diskmaskin, ugn, kylskåp. Tvättmaskin och strykjärn fanns också i lägenheten. Efter at have ventet mere end 30 min. udenfor var jeg heldig at blive lukket ind af en gæst, som skulle besøge én, som boede i bygningen. Der var altså ingen kontakt til receptionen, hvor der iøvrigt heller ikke var nogen og kl. var ca. 13.00. Langt om længe kom der en person, som kunne give mig et sæt nøgler.

到着が夜遅かったので、入口に記載有る、緊急連絡先に鍵の受取（入口を入ったところに、部屋の鍵を保管している、小さな金庫が有る）の番号を教えてもらい、部屋に入りました。部屋は綺麗です。キッチンがあるので、自炊派には持って来いだと思います。市街中心地ですので、時々深夜まで騒がしいですがこちらの文化みたいですので、諦めましょう（笑　　チェックアウトは鍵を返却ポストに返しておしまいです。これは簡単です。今回は1周間の滞在であり、快適でした。

クイーンストリートのすぐ近くにあり、アクセス性は良好。ただし、アパートメントですので、入り口は分かりにくいかも。　基本的にReceptionは常駐していないので、遅くチェックインするときなど（17:30までしかReceptionに人がいない）は電話で入口の暗証番号、キーボックスの番号を聞く必要があります。　掃除は一週間に一回。　気にならなければ問題ないと思います。（有料でハウスキーピングは頼むこと可能です）　チェックアウトの際も、キーボックスに鍵を返すだけですので、Receptionとのかかわりがほとんどない物件です。wifiの接続は良好。ホテル並みのサービスは期待できませんが、単なる宿泊所ととらえれば非常に良いホテルです。

Great location, great apartment. Arrival during the night. Got a mail how to get the key when the reception was closed, but no Key. So needed to call, and it took around 45min to get it. Otherwise great prize and a perfect place to stay!!!
