We were just passing through on our cross country car trip and we were looking for a hotel close to the baseball park. This was pricey and much more than we usually pay, but the hotel was absolutely wonderful. Valet and front desk were very attentive, room was very big and bed was super comfortable. A friend and I stayed here this past weekend at it was amazing. the staff was very friendly and helpful. Everyone from the valet to the guy helping us with our bags. The room was very modern and comfortable. The metrople resteraunt was superb. The hotel even arranged for a cab to take us to our concert venue. will definatly be coming back.

Really enjoy staying in your hotel. The only issue was the electric in the room. We were not sure if it was set up for energy savings or not because we had power usless certain other switches were on. hard to explain. We figured it out but wasn't sure if that is how it should be.

This is a very neat and trendy hotel - located within walking distance of numerous bars, eateries, shops, etc. It's a tad bit on the pricey side, but isn't bad when compared to the Hilton Netherland Plaza. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the hotel staff are polite and helpful. Although the retro decor and gallery artwork isn't a huge draw for […] me, I'd stay there again. My only criticism has to do with the Metropole - the hotel's bar and restaurant. The food is good, but the service (at least in my experience) leaves something to be desired. There's a lot of restaurant personnel (they're not understaffed), but most of them seem more interested in being seen than actually catering to customers. The location is perfect for a day in the city...we walked to the new casino to check it out, back to Vine St., down to Fountain Square and then to the Banks, stopping along the way for a drink or a bite to eat...so nice to see so many new businesses and restaurants in Cincinnati! 21C is surrounded by several restaurants, but we had to check out the house restaurant, Metropole...excellent choice! Loved watching the chef cooking over the open fire...server was very friendly and knowledgeable...provided suggestions without being pushy...charceuterie, squid and striped bass were perfectly prepared...served beautifully without pretention and unique flavor combinations blended wonderfully...the after dinner cotton candy was a fun touch. My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night during a Valentine's getaway to Cincinnati. Overall, we were both pleased with our experience. Neither of us had ever stayed at a hotel like the 21C, so it was very interesting to experience. The decor is very fun and it seemed we were noticing something different everywhere we looked. The one thing I was slightly disappointed with was the size of the room. Upon checking in, we were told we were upgraded to a "suite." When we got to our room, each of us were kind of surprised and expected something a little bigger. We joked that we were interested to see what our original room looked like! But, being downtown, one can expect smaller rooms I suppose. The museum within the hotel is definitely worth walking through. You're able to get drinks and walk through and look at the art, we each thought that was very nice. The price is definitely higher than the size of the room would indicate, but you're paying for the location downtown and the experience. Overall, I would recommend staying! Read more

I had flowers sent to the hotel ahead of time and they were waiting in the room when we arrived. Everything was perfect. The art was very interesting, but probably not appropriate for kids. In fact, the whole place is way too nice for kids - leave them behind.

I travel about 10-12 days a month for work so I have a lot of experience with hotels. 21c Museum was a welcomed surprise. Although we're normally Starwoods guys, me and my team booked there because The Westin (which we normally stay at in Cincy) was fully booked. After this trip, I won't stay anywhere BUT 21c. We came from Louisville, KY where 21c originally started and decided to visit the new one in Cincy. Great quality of service and the rooms were just spectacular! The surrounding area wasn't high quality, however. Despite that, we all had a great time and the artwork was worth seeing. Plus loved the bathroom in the room. :)

I was so very impressed with my stay. The lobby where you check in is an art gallery and the staff was very knowledgable about the exhibits. Our room was immaculate...we may have been the first guests to use it. The beds were great and the sheets were exceptional. We stayed in a double and the base of the lamp between the beds was surrounded with outlets. […] We could both read our iPads and charge them at the same time. The wifi was FAST, RELIABLE and FREE! The bathroom addressed several of my pet peeves. The lighting had a dimmer switch so it coul be bright for putting on makeup and dim otherwise. The shower actually had shelves built in so there was a place to put shampoo and a washcloth. The shower was designed so that water didn't go all over the place. In addition, the bathroom was spacious and outfitted with the most current upscale fixtures. The walls were covered with white "subway" tiles and my husband got a kick out of discovering the occasional novelty tiles( don't want to spoil the surprise!). I could go on but I'm afraid I'll run out of space. Careful planning and attention to detail went in to creating such an innovative hotel. I can't wait to return! Read more
