The Akmani Legian - Legian Beach

Stayed for one night to transit out of bali to airport. Hotel looked nice and new so I was looking foward to my 1 day stay at hotel. HUGE DISSAPOINTMENT! although rooms look nice and new, service is horrible and NOT WORTH the money paid for in bali. I was upgraded to a pool view room because wifi did not work on one side of hotel and since I was only […] here for one night I needed to do some work and be comfortable in the room. The staff decided to upgrade me to a pool room with better signal but the key could not be programmed to the room so I had to go ask reception to let me in each time I wanted to get back in the room! once inside the new room the safe was broken as well...at this point i was just upset at the whole situation. TALK ABOUT BEING INCONVIENCED! Retro modern looking in lobby. If your into sleek teak wood and parquet floors this is a modern hotel. After staying in a few hotels I noticed overall kuta/legian hotels have a musky smell..(you get used to it) and bathroom had some clay dirt around the edges of bathtub. shower and shower floors have teak wood i wonder what would happen if they ever happened to get a case of termites? If you can, the pool courtyard rooms are nicer as opposed to opening window to a brick wall... size is reasonable and bed was comfy. It's located on a main drag so food, marts massage and shopping are plenty. Bombing monument is about 3 mins walking and beach 10 mins. Walk left instead of right beaches are nicer on that side. Stayed 2 nights in April after a week in seminyak and was very happy with hotel for the price range (paid approx $57 per night with bfast for standard king room). It hasn't been open long and There didnt seem to be many people staying there, it was quiet in hotel and garden area and I had pool to myself most of the time. Service was great & they checked […] me in a few hrs early plus upgraded me 1 room category. I must commend them on their service, as all the staff were very friendly and professional and went out of their way to greet you and make sure you are enjoying your stay. Bfast was standard, Room service was quick and food good, room very nice and modern with view of pool and i also liked feature Shower with wooden floor. Location is good also, I consider it more kuta than legian, it's on the main street about 5 mins walk from poppies lane 2, or 5 mins in the other direction to melasti st. They r still finishing some meeting rooms on high floors I think but not disruptive at all and the open roof top bar is now open from 5pm and they have 2 or 1 cocktails at 80,000 from 6-8pm daily plus other nightly specials. good place to sit at sunset on lounges with a drink but actual sunset is blocked by beah front hotel buildings, still a decent view though. The only thing that could have been better was that the pool was quite cool, as doesn't get heaps of sun due to buildings surrounding it, but u can still sunbake until about 4pm its just the sun doesn't reach the water. positive: good size room , excellent wifi in all room for free and decent pool and cordial staff. negative: no spa , no gym, breakfast mediocre and not a buffet , expensive drinks and food , not a four star (less than 3) anyway not sure who rated that... no space in hotel other than the rooms

꾸따 시내라서 위치는 좋았어요. 바다에 가려면 조금 걸어야하지만 충분히 걸을만했고.. 직원들도 친절했어요. 호텔 업그레이드 요청을 했으나 룸이 꽉 찼다고 리젝..ㅠ 수영장은 작기도 했지만 놀기에는 좋았어요. 아이들 풀도 있지만 무릎정도? 이고 조금 작아요. 큰 사이즈는 어른들 수영장. 호텔 클래식 형태룸은 드라이기 없어요. 빌려달라고해서 사용하시면 됩니다, 면봉도 없어요. 목욕가운도 없어요. 풀억세스룸이 아니면 좀 놀랄만한 창밖을 보실거에요. ㅠㅠ 루프탑은 일몰을 보는데 너무 좋았답니다. 루프탑에도 수영장이 있는데 여기는 아이들이 놀기에 좋지만 대낮은 해가 너무 쌔서 남편과 저는 못놀았답니다. 파라솔도 없어요. 지금 호텔은 […] 계속 공사중이라 낮에는 조금 시끄러울 수 있어요. 직원들은 친절해서 좋았고 조식은 좋았답니다. 여행을 많이 다니는 편인데.. 베이컨.. 여기가 가장 맛있더군요 ㅋㅋㅋ 조식종류는 많지않았지만 한국입맛에 맞았답니다. 조식은 맘에들었어요. 호텔에서 나와 조금만 나가면 조금 큰 마트가 있답니다. 공항픽업요청도 있으니 이메일로 보내서 확약받으면 됩니다. 저희를 그렇게 요청했는데.. 직원이 다른 한국손님을 태우고 와서.. 결국 택시 잡고 왔다는..ㅠㅠ 이름을 확실히 밝혀 픽업요청을 하세요 Read more
