Enjoyed everything about staying at the Hard Rock Hotel in Cancun. The room was clean and good sized (we had a family suite which is the way to go if you have older kids!) The hotel was over booked. We had paid for three ocean front rooms and only received one ocean front. We wasted one entire day just trying to get the rooms situated, There were apologies and promises to make things right. But none of that came to fruition. We were also told that due to the complete screw-up management would make an exception and allow […] us to use all of our credits at the spa rather than a bit here a bit there etc. However, there were no spa appointments available during our stay. Be ready to have children surrounding you at all times of the day and night. All ages are left completely to their own devices so thes kids just run rampant, screaming in the halls all night. Also know that it sounds as if your neighbors are in the room with you. Everything can be heard through the walls and under the doors. Also be ready after a sleepless night to awaken at 6:30am to go put some towels on your chairs at the beach and or pool, and frankly the pool and beach chairs are so horrible that you may not want to save one. I can tell you that the food is mediocre and the same everyday. The drinks were very good if you asked for an extra shot. Which you will need in order to just survive. Honestly i loved this hotel when it was the Cancun Palace but the Hard Rock must just cater to a completely different crowd. We actually left feeling more stressed than when we had arrived so we checked into the Sun Palace and finally had what felt like a vacation for a few days. Read more

Beautiful resort. Clean, friendly staff, cater to your every need. The food was fantastic, plenty to choose from. Unlimited drinks, beautiful beach and pools. Room was great- terrific view and top notch amenities. jacuzzi was a big hit.

The Hotel and the stay was great! very friendly staff always willing to assist. The food was great, the service was great! the only restaurant we didnt enjoy was the Italian. the food was very poor and not tasty!!! even the deserts!!! This is my second time in Cancun and I went there with some friends, my sister and my GF. We are all 25 and my sister is 22. When we first arrived the bell service took care of our luggage since we had to wait for the room (we got there early). They gave us some cold towels and champaign. It was all good until Check-in. The lobby bar is great. You can […] feel the classic HARD ROCK atmosphere and they got really nice drinks and a good selection of tequilas. You just need to ask the brand you want in your cocktail and they will make it for you. The pool bars and beach bar were great too. The staff is friendly and, even if they dont carry a large selection like the lobby bar, they have some great things too. Cocktails are well made and they could get you anything you need. The food was really good. The breakfast restaurant had a large selection of american and mexican food and all was great. Lunch time was average since the Buffet restaurant had a little selection but there is also a BBQ place near the pool and a pizza place, so you have some choices. The diner restaurants are the main attraction when talking about food. The japanese restaurant has teriyaki style tables and also sushi, both were amazing. We ordered a bottle of Moet with the resort credit and had it there. They prepared us Sake Bombs on demand and the staff even suggested places to visit (Thanks Speedy). Read more

The hotel itself was slightly disappointing. It could have used quite a bit more renovation time & budget spent when changing it over to the Hard Rock. The main areas were decorated fairly nicely, but if you pay attention to the details, the hotel's age shows through. This was especially evident in the rooms. We had a light socket pull completely out […] of the wall, a broken toilet seat, cracked tiles, missing grout, etc. Even the bellhop couldn't make sense of our light switches. The staff was great! With the exception of one slow dinner due to an overloaded waiter, service was excellent. The pool/activities staff was the best I have ever experienced with this being my 6th trip to an all-inclusive resort in Mexico. They kept guests engaged, without being too pushy if you wanted to be left alone. The food was also probably the best I've had at an all-inclusive. The buffet was nicer than most and the restaurants did not have the exact same items with a slightly different sauce or presentation. Booze is also name brand. The gym is big and fairly well equipped. The spa was decent, although somewhat overpriced. We did have a good time at this resort but I would probably only recommend it to those who are more concerned with eating/drinking and less concerned with a top-notch luxury resort. I also think we would have had a better time going with a small group, rather than just as a couple. Read more

We are a late 30s couple who travelled to this resort in Oct 2012. We have previously been to Cancun to another five star resort. Hard Rock Hotel in Cancun is unparalleled in service and quality. We particularly loved the oriental restaurant. The sushi and sashimi at the asian restaurant were really good and they were great about customizing the menu to exactly what we wanted! We also really enjoyed the Market and Ciao,the italian, was our least favourite but we generally don't love italian anyway. We had the "Romantic Dinner" on the beach with our resort credits and really enjoyed this. Best lobster I have had in my life! Everyone at the resort is constantly trying to make your experience amazing. The people at this resort really know how to take care of you. The spa is AMAZING. It is extremely tranquil and relaxing .... We did it twice and it is included so that is a huge plus! We used our credits to get some spa treatments. I got a package including manicure, pedicure, srcub, massage, and facial and my husband got an hour long massage. All this for $500 of resort credits! Overall, a fantastic experience, definitely will come back anytime soon! Read more

El hotel es un poco pequeño para ser All Inclusive, la comida es promedio, solo que las hamburguesas y nachos lo máximo. La habitación tiene paredes de papel, pues se escucha cualquier ruido mínimo del pasillo, elevador y otras habitaciones.

Destaco su servicio de all inclusive y de mozos, lo demas, normal, a la altura de cualquier hotel de la zona....es un hotel reformado. Pague por una Habitacion Deluxe Familiar, me dieron un cuarto piso en contrafrente con una vista pesima, y olor a caño.
