Although the rooms were really small, we were very pleased with our stay. The hotel staff and management were so helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant. You can't go wrong with the breakfast and the happy hour that is included. I would definitely recommend staying here!

My friends and I loved the Ovolo. It's in a great location a few minutes walk from Sheung Wan station (exit A2) and easy walk to Central/Macau Ferry/Star Ferry Pier etc. The hotel is very new and was very clean and bright throughout. Yes the rooms are small but it's the same everywhere in Hong Kong! The room layout makes great use of space, very comfy […] futon bed and great rain shower. Loved the free mini bar, snacks and toiletries, as well as the free laundry on level 3. Breakfast in the mornings was basic but good quality and we took advantage of the free happy hour (6-8pm) more than once for a drink before dinner! Loved it, would highly recommend. Read more

HK rooms are generally small, but this hotel could be in the Guinness book for the smallest hk room. Nice service, nice bed, nice free a entities and happy hour, just wish it wasn't so claustrophobic.

Yes the rooms are very small, but they are also comfortable and very new and clean. The amenities (free minibar refiled daily, great toiletries, breakfast, happy hour, all day coffee/tea/snacks, and laundry) provided by this property are outstanding considering the price of the rooms.

Close to the nice Soho area. A nice touch is the fun complimentary stuff with the hotel instead of extra charges for everything that you normally see at hotels. Would reccomend it for sure.

This hotel is great. Upon first impressions, guests will note that the rooms are very small however the hotel makes up for this in ways which in my opinion make all the difference for a great stay. First, the hotel is in a great location. This is paramount because in a town like Hong Kong you won't spend much time in the hotel room anyway so it's better […] to be in a good location and since the hotel is cheap you can save your money for experiencing your stay. Second, the hotel little extras that just make everything that much more pleasant. They'll do your washing for you. The minibar is totally free. There is great communal bar in the lobby where there are free drinks between 6pm - 8pm every night for guests where you can share a couple with fellow guests, compare travel stories and get some tips. The concierge is excellent, knowledgeable and eager to help. The rooms are equipped with Apple TV, so if you want you can watch any shows or films you have on your iTunes account so you're not stuck with the local TV stations, which is just a brilliant touch. They also have a proper coffee machine, so you can enjoy a decent coffee over your breakfast which is included in the room rate. I would say that this hotel is probably better suited to adults though. Children may not like having small rooms and having kids running around during the 6pm - 8pm happy hour wasn't ideal. Hotel is well located with the MTR station only a 5 minute walk away.The staff are are very helpful and even let us have a shower in the evening after we'd checked out before we went to the airport which was very much appreciated. The only downside is the rooms which are tiny, but this is a common problem with HK hotels. Hotellet ligger meget centralt. Hvis man tager Airport Express til Central tager det ca. 15m at gå til hotellet eller det koster HKD 30 hvis man tager en taxi. Værelset er meget rent og pænt men meget små uden klædeskabe, så det er umuligt at "pakke ud". Personalet er meget venlige og parate til at hjælpe. Hôtel tout neuf dans le quartier des antiquaires de HK qui propose des chambres, certes petites, mais assez fonctionnelles (il ne manque qu'un placard!). Les services sont remarquables : ensemble des serviettes changé tous les jours, le mini bar gratuit de la chambre renfloué quotidiennement, le petit-déj simple mais en quantité et surtout, très agréable […] : un brunch est proposé tous les soirs à partir de 18h avec apéritifs, vins et autres boissons, accompagnés de divers crackers. Une salle de sport est disponible ainsi qu'une laverie avec lave linges et sèche linges. La déco contemporaine est très sympa. Le personnel est assez serviable, certaines hôtesses le sont moins. Petite surprise durant notre séjour: j'ai taché une housse de couette avec un médicament malencontreusement renversé, nous avons prévenu la réception et le soir même nous avions un courrier dans notre chambre nous signalant qu'une note de 47€ nous sera réclamée à notre départ ! Jamais vu cela dans un hôtel 4*... Cet hôtel de petite taille pour HK propose donc un salon où sont pris les petits déj , les tea times et autres brunches et en France, on aurait presque pu parler d'ambiance " chambre d'hôte"...mais détrompez-vous : chaque personne ( des occidentaux en voyage d'affaires pour la plupart) à le nez dans son Iphone ou sa tablette et notre " Good Mornig" le matin restait sans réponse!! un peu déstabilisant mais on s'habitue...Cet hôtel reste néanmoins une très bonne étape à HK Read more
