The room was clean, quiet and comfortable - excellent value for money. Even though it is located close to #l hwy., it was very quiet. Breakfast was adequate - coffee, toast and jam, waffles, bagels, etc.

This was one of the nicer Super 8's I've stayed at in a while, with recent room renovations; comfy beds and pillows. I would've liked more than 5 inches of counter space on the sink though.

Good basic overnight accommodations in Winnipeg. Staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Continental breakfast was especially good for providing healthy fare -- none of the sugary, processed junk pastries so common in other economy accommodations.

What a turn around this hotel has taken. I've stayed here when it was a Motel 1 and the changes are drastic. Neat, HUGE photos in the rooms, modern bedding, clean, comfortable beds and very reasonably priced. I would definitly stay here again. We were overall pleased with this hotel considering the price. It was important for us to travel economically, in a clean, comfortable hotel and that is what we got. The only minor issues we found was that the carpet near the door smelled like pet odor and the drain in the bathtub did not seal well. The tv was lousy for picking shows-something with the remote and the artwork on the walls was ugly. The bathroom was very small. Having said all that it was very clean and close to what we needed to do. Breakfast was good too.

The staff was very accommodating. The only "complaint" I have, and it's not really a complaint, is that I couldn't get wi-fi unless I was right against the room door. The lovely clerk at the front did inform me that they were having the internet people out this week to get that looked after, so it's all good for future visits. They are a pet friendly […] establishment and I saw a LOT of dogs who were staying there, I had my dog as well. They must have amazing walls because the only time we heard a "woof" of any kind was when we were heading out and a dog heard us. Somewhat remote from town, but if you don't want to drive there is a good bus service just up the road. We had massive noise problems from the room next door but the hotel was ineffective in curing it despite several complaints to reception.

Recently renovated so very modern and comfortable rooms. The electrical sockets were in very inconvenient locations. The hotel is along HWY 1, so it is very convenient if you are passing through Winnipeg or leaving eastbound early in the morning (as I was). Since it is on the HWY there is nothing within walking distance. But there are enough restaurants […] within a 5-10 minute drive. We met the desk clerk with professionalism, and even though they have a trolley they didn't have an elevator so we had to carry our luggage up to the second floor. The room was clean and quiet and the WiFi worked well. And even though the hotel was still under reno they did well for the one night stay. The breakfast was good too.

Property has been renovated and is quite an improvement . No imagination is displayed at the hohum breakfast though The one thing that really disappointed me , though, was that I woke up at 4:30am to the lovely smell of cigarette smoke. HELLO I thought this was a non smoking property-Thats what was made clear to me when I checked in. I don't smoke. […] I guess the cigarette burns on the acrylic bathtub should have been a clue-they're not serious about the no smoking thing folks. We basically slept there but the room was clean and fresh. They are renovating so something were outta sorts but other than that it was a good stay. For your money it was well worth it.

This hotel is currently under-going renovations, and has recently re-opened. My room was freshly done, so very nice, but the common area of the hotel were still under construction.

The hotel was clean, quiet, and the beds comfortable. The room would be a bit crowded for a family, however. The continental breakfast had several choices--coffee excellent. The only con was that our room had previously been a smoking room and the minute we opened the door, we could smell the stale smoke.

They took a $100 Deposit for smoking, which I did not smoke inside the room. 1 week later, 2 phone calls and they still haven't returned my deposit. They smile when they take your money.
