The only complaint I had was there was a lack of employees around asking if I needed anything. This is normal in 5 star of this type. The room was fantastic got upgraded to grande suit. Breakfast was good but not great.

Warsaw has a lot of new hotels. Old In Warsaw would be anything built in the 90's. This hotel just feels and looks old and dated. Like most countries in Europe they don't follow the rules in the star rating system. This hotel claims 5 star but it Is a 4 star for sure. For a good price say 100 US it's not a bad deal but if your looking for 5 star luxury and service go somewhere else. On the positive side the beds are amazing with down mattress covers and high thread count sheets. I was looking forward to a big French breakfast but was horribly disappointed. My first impression was it looked like a motel in both presentation, selection and food quality. Would not stay there again, there are just too many choices in Warsaw these days to go back to something disappointing.

Hotel older. But very well maintain. Staff very friendly. Only one small problem- all rooms don't have temperature control.In my room was too hot because old system of heating.Going to airport- BE AWARE OF TAXI THIEFS. THEY LOOK ON YOU AND MANIPULATE NUMBERS ON REGISTER. THE DISTANCE TO AIRPORT TERMINAL IN VERY SHORT. THEY CHARGE YOU TRIPLE AMOUNT.WITH INDICATOR OF PRICE ON SIDE WINDOWS, YOU WILL PAY FIVE TIMES MORE. THEIR TRICK IS TO GO TO PICK-UP A PARKING TICKET AND MAKING SPECIAL ROUNDS AROUND. I AM AN ARCHITECT AND I WAS SURPRISED.

Room great dark wood accents with brown/green comforting furnishing. Bathroom great tub/beautifully titled shower. Easy to get to from Warsaw Central train station IMPORTANT to get across main 2-lane (plus trams) street you must stay in train station lower level follow underpass signs to cross to other side. Follow signs for Marriott hotel that lead you to right past shops down few steps, under street to escalator. Do not follow signs for Emili Plater street the main street you walk down until you get to Wilcaza where the hotel is. Once up the escalator walk past Champions Restaurant/LIM office building to the corner and to right main entrance for Marriott. Go past entrance to sidewalk for Emili Plater and walk 2 blocks (6 minutes) to lovely Rialto Hotel. Take advantage of the sauna/steamroom/gym on the 6th floor. Relaxing, they give you slippers and lend robe. If no one used sauna/steam they may be off just press on buttons give it about 10 minutes to heat up. Open til 10:30pm/GREAT! Also check out incredible really inexpensive restaurant 5 min walk down Wilcza to Marszałkowska & take right just a few feet large windows looks like a cafeteria. Home cooking by Polish moms and grandmas. Bar Zlota Kurka http://barzlotakurka.pl/ They have a button on the website for English menu. Accepts Visa/mastercard spend 10 Polish Zlotys $4.00 US For 11 Zlotys I had incredible soup, meat dumplings and crepes filled with a sweet cheese for $3.90 US. Very casual but GREAT!
