Excellent hotel in downtown Hobart with very large newly furnished rooms that are great for families. The staff was efficient at check in-and very accommodating with helping to arrange transport and storage of luggage. The hotel is within walking distance to nice restaurants by the waterfront and the Salamanca Market.

The cleaner had done an excellent job. The room is very clean and the hotel room is very comfortable. Yes, I will recommend this hotel to my friend and I will choose to stay there again, if I go to Hobart in the future. Overall I will rate the hotel 4.5.

I stayed here for two nights with my partner. Good service. Room size was good. Cleanliness very good. Internet access (no free wifi...a shame), small fridge and tea coffee facilities. Location excellent. Walking distance to everything. Would recommend this hotel. Well priced.

On arrival we were made to wait for our room, even though it was nearing 5pm in the afternoon. The staff seemed overwhelmed and unable to keep on top of the queue of people checking in, on top of answering phones. Perhaps they're understaffed. We tried to kill time by going to the bar for a drink, but found it completely empty - no staff to serve us […] at all. Our room was okay, a bit dull though. The bed wasn't very comfortable. Breakfast was terrible, poor quality food and the staff clueless. They tried to charge us for breakfast even though it was included in our room rate. Overall this hotel is okay, but a bit dull and lacking in character. If they get the staff sorted out it will be much better. Read more

Hotel was nice. Key cards rarely worked. Each time my colleague and I came back to our room, one or both of our key cards did not work and we had to get them reset. Many others also appeared to have this problem. It was very frustrating. Otherwise, very happy with the hotel and service.

We arrived to be told you had overbooked and were downgraded and offered a reduction which seemed to be unknown when we checked out. The first day we did not get the room cleaned. Second day room was cleaned but the minibar was not restocked. The last day we waited over 2 hours for our room service which was disappointing to say the least.
