We stayed at this hotel over New Years 2012. All in all a very good hotel, compared to other Holiday Inn Express hotels we've stayed at this is definitely one of the better. Room was as can be expected, nothing fancy but large enough and very clean. Staff are very nice and friendly, only slight let down was that they were unable to answer some quite […] basic questions. For example there are stickers in the bathroom stating that you can get the usual "amenity kit" items from reception but when we asked for an item we were told they had nothing available. I read reviews before making my booking so was surprised to encounter "new" building problems. The Basement car park had been flooded after a recent deluge, as a result patrons were directed to park on the road at their own expense. Staff on check-in were fairly indifferent and less than welcoming. My room was presentable but had not been fully snagged, […] the shower cubicle had no internal handles on the door and the door did not shut properly resulting in a very wet and slippery floor. The bathroom also had grout smears and other signs of finishes not being tidied up. I think this hotel will be fine once the teething troubles have been eliminated, I am just surprised it is taking so long and that quality control did not pick up the problems I encountered before the place opened. Although the hotel is new, it is a shame that it is not completed. The hotel still has not completed its car park, this causes problems with parking.

Car park still unusable, "park across the road and we'll refund your tickets for the fee's", Nice offer but I don't really want to be re-doing a parking ticket every 2 hours....and will they refund a parking fine? Methinks not!

Hotel was very convenient in terms of location. Close to Windsor Castle and the long walk and the town centre. Rooms were good but small, no dresser or drawers for your clothes just 6 hangers. Bathroom was good, shower had good pressure and nicely renovated in terms of tile and fixtures but again limited storage space for toiletries (makeup, brushes […] etc) I think if the desk had drawers or the nightstand had drawers or both, it would have been better in terms of storage. We stayed in the hotel for 7 nights so we kind of lived out of our suitcases. Breakfast was good especially since it was included in the price of the room. Scrambled eggs, sausages and baked beans, fresh fruit and yogurts as well as the coffee machine, various cereals, croissants, rolls, white/brown bread for toasting were refilled as needed by the very friendly and accomodating staff. Very clean. My wife is extremely fussy on such matters, but she can't wait to go again. Staff where very friendly, if a little inexperienced, but they got the job done. It's just a walk to everywhere in Windsor, and very handy for Legoland. We are planning another trip, just to use the hotel!

This hotel is neat and clean and the breakfast good, though some bacon and tomatoes would have made it closer to a 'full English'. The tv's in the dining room showing the Sky news channel were a plus for us, but the volume wasn't loud so didn't disturb others who weren't interested. The lifts were malfunctioning but useable, and it was not possible […] to have a newspaper on the Sunday morning for some reason! Overall it was a good stay but the only down fault was when we got back with our kids back in the evening and checked in went to our room the spare bed where the kids where going to sleep there wasn't a matress or bed do.But there where quick and good to move us to another room.All good.

The hotel is ideally located for the centre of Windsor and a short drive to Legoland. It is new and so it felt fresh and clean. The room was comfortable, but on both days we had to request extra towels because there were not enough for a family room. However, on both occasions this was dealt with quickly. The women on reception wer friendly, keen and […] enthusiastic. The breakfast choice was good (and plentiful) except for the cooked breakfast which was limited to sausage, beans and scrambled eggs. We were unable to use the car park due to flooding and although that cannot be helped, public parking in Windsor is expensive and can be hard to find. As a result, we spent more money than anticipated on tariffs and more time than we'd hoped having to move the car from time-limited zones. Overall it suited our purpose. Read more

The double bed is good enough. It provides a sofa bed for the third person and u have to cover the sheet on it yourself.
