"Great affordable place"
The place was very easy to find, super clean and the staff was friendly with the exception of the two employees in the night shift. The two employees working the night shift were rude and disrespectful, mostly the lady. I asked them a question and they started talking in a foreign language before answering me just to argue with me about a 50 cents difference […] on a cookie bag. Anyway, if they attend you, you'll have a rude stay.. the rest of the staff was awesome! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Breakfast is limited"
There is no place to sit down for breakfast. Each person is restricted to one small piece of roll. The time of breakfast is short, too. The front lobby has a bad smell. On the map, it seems to be close to Yosemite National Park, but it is about 2 hours drive.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was a vacation trip, and we were traveling with another couple. My only complaint was we requested to have our rooms close and we ended up on two different floors plus two different sides of the building.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Never again. Worst place ever. Manager unwilling to correct booking error. Booked two queen beds for 2 adults and 2 kids. Error by Hotels.com indicates 2 adults, I'm sure I indicated on phone call, 2 adults and two children, 12 and 16 years. I was charged extra because booking indicated 2 adults and I did not realize that when I looked through reservation […] confirmation. Rude Manager. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

I stayed for 2 nights. First night we found the toilet was blocked and ask for maintenance next morning. Nothing change after their fix. Total hotel service and amenities quality is below average.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Cool little place."
We stayed at this location because it was one of the only places available on the 4th of July weekend, for our trip to Yosemite. It is 1 hour 10 minutes away from the ENTEREANCE of the Yosemite Park. But after you pass the Yosemite entrance, it is still another 35 minutes to Yosemite Village,,,where all the tourist trails and falls are at. (So 1 hour […] 45 minutes from Yosemite Village). The Indian doode was cool. Talkative, informative...just a cool guy. Gave us a few tips on where to visit, and then let us use towels for the pool later that night, even after the pool was closed at 9:00PM. (He told us to just keep the noise down). It was 98* degrees that day! The rooms were a little run down. (One spot on the carpet had wear marks that showed all the way through to the fibers below, and the curtain would not close all the way. We used my wife's hair clip to fully close it). We were on the first floor, room 106. But the rooms were clean, no insect sightings (we did a THOROUGH bed bug search), and the sheets and towels were clean. There was a television, small fridge, microwave, ironing board with iron, and a coffee maker in the room. Overall we were pretty happy, and felt comfortable. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Working Hard on Improving"
Country Inn is conveniently located on Hwy 108, just a short drive from Jamestown and Sonora and within easy driving distance to Columbia, Angel's Camp and Murphy's. Our room was on the third floor in the back by the pool and it was QUIET. The beds were comfortable, the linens and towels always fresh and clean. Due to the small staff, there are some […] minor maintenance issues that need to be addressed and would elevate the rating: remove the dust in the corners of the room, clean the shades over the lamps in the bathroom, provide a clothes hook in the bathroom (our room had holes where the hook used to be) and have an ironing board to go along with the provided iron. The carpets are a bit worn but relatively clean, probably replacement will be on a "as funds come available" list. While the hotel offers a simple continental breakfast, there is no place to eat it unless you want to haul it back to your room. The front desk was always helpful and courteous even when overwhelmed with July 4th travelers. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Honest and Friendly staff"
We accidentally left some jeans and my Grandsons wallet with money in it. They called us the next day and arranged to send it back to us. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the money was still in it when it came. The staff was very nice and helpful suggesting places we could eat. The room was comfortable too.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel advertises a complimentary breakfast. It really was not . You were allowed one sweet roll per person and there was a waiting line for pancakes. The biggest problem was the breakfast was not served until 7:30 in the morning. Very late if you were going out to see Yosemite National Park. I was very disappointed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice hotel, but the breakfast is poorGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Cute hotel in the mountains"
Great place to stay! A little hard to find through winding roads and the sign is hard to see, but the room was clean, large enough for the three of us, and everything was as it should be. Be aware that the lobby is small, and you are asked to eat your breakfast in your room. They make pancakes on a griddle, which is great! But if it is the weekend, […] there will be a wait for your food. The service was good, too - my daughter was sick, and the manager brought Alka-Seltzer for her. "Great beds--nice staff"
Good location but the room temp hard to control--and the temp went from hot to cold---fan cycled on and off all nightGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Wear Shin Guards"
The beds have wooden frames that stick out all around and it's easy to bump your shins. Also, the blinds in the bathroom window were broken so I had to turn off the light and dress and go to the bathroom in the dark. The location is difficult to find. It would be good to put out a sign on Highway 108 to find it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very friendly staff, room was very clean and stuffed with fridge and microwave which is great for the price. Complimentary breakfast was mediocre but what do you expect for the price. I'll stay in this hotel again given the opportunity to go back to Yosemite.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"don't judge the book by its cover"
While the outside neighborhood screams countryside-rundown-inn, our room was clean and roomy. The location of the inn is not the best because it was 15 mins away from town, we literally thought that we were surrounded by farms and ranches. The wifi was slow but it was free. The parking lot was big enough.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not worth the price"
Its pretty far from Yosemite, overpriced, breakfast is a sham, carpets looks horrible. Its an okay stay for a night but not worth the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Would not recommend"
Overall, it was not a pleasant experience to stay at this hotel. While I understand that this is a budget hotel, the level of uncleanliness is unexcusable. We arrived around 2 p.m., and although the check-in time was not until 4 p.m., we were hoping that there would be a room ready. The front desk clerk was not sure, but offered to have us check into […] a dirty room. I am not sure why anyone would want to check into a dirty hotel or why that would be an option. Of course, I said no. I asked if they could at least hold our luggage until check in time. The clerk said that they could not because there was no safe location. We came back a couple of hours later and checked in without issue. And the room...was filthy. There was dust caked on lamps, dirt under the bed (as in clumps of dirt), and the carpet was in desperate need of a cleaning. The location of the hotel was not great, but not terrible. It is situated right off a busy highway with convenant off/on, but not near any restaurants or grocery stores. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Business in the area close early. Hotel was great. Refrigerator and microwave oven in the room were helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Its clean and newly furnished. Our air conditioner had broke so I told them about it and when we came back they had put in a brand new one. No fuss no muss....We stayed here because we were visiting Yosemite. Although close by its 1-1/2-2 hours depending on what part of the park your visiting. due to sections of very winding roads.the trade off is its […] affordable and a nice place. Drive out there runs through some nice senery. For breakfast we stopped on the way to the park in a small saloon looking town at cross country cafe in Groveland. "watch your shins!"
I watched my friend hit his leg against the wooden bed corner. Swelling occurred despite immediate application of ice. Then I hit my leg and he hit his leg again. Are we incredibly clumsy or is it a design flaw???? Froot Loops for breakfast..what's not to like???Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Overall is OK, except cleanliness"
-the towels and linens are dirty. -very dusty.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel has no space for breakfast, so you have to take your food to your room. Also, the beds have a wood frame that surrounds the mattress, so you keep bumping your legs on it. I will not recommend this hotel. It is very old.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect Stay on your way to Yosemite."
The location is perfect. Its about an hour and a half outside the park valley. The rooms were clean and nice. One thing I appreciate about hotels is a refridgerator and nice Tv. This one had both. The bathroom and beds were standard. When camping in Yosemite is booked and your just going for a day, this stop is great. The locals in Sonora were helpful […] as well, with road conditions and such. The town has a couple gas stations fairly priced. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"gets you close to Yosemite"
The hotel is fine. Room was clean. We only stayed one night on the way to Yosemite. It worked well for us to break the drive in to Yosemite. Wifi worked, easy to find. Had dinner at the Willow in Jamestown just down the road, which was terrific, great steaks for a fair price and nice main street.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room was clean and bug free. The hotel staff is nice.mainly we had a good experience.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good hotel, but not near anything"
It was good, cheap, and clean. Wish it were closer to jamestown or sonora so we could have walked to stuff instead of driving. Laundry facilities don't really exist, they have a laundry service that they wanted $20/load for, so we went to a laundromat instead. Otherwise, great deal for the money.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"convenient acces to anything"
Lady in Front Desk was not kind at all, she was rude and straight to the point ( she is from India, I believe) other than that, we enjoyed our staying heading to Yosemite, it was convenient.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

What a great little place to stay. Totally exceeded our expectations. Easy to find, exceptionally clean and really nice rooms. Simple breakfast available bad check-in/out was a breeze. "Always enjoy our stay"
We've stayed at this hotel more than once and will continue staying here. My husband and I like to get away on weekends and this is our place to stay. Staff always friendly, nice sized room, nice bed, etc. The only thing they need to improve is the breakfast. Yes, I know it's free, but they need more of a selection. Bagel's and cream cheese don't go […] bad. Bread for toast. More fruit, this time they didn't have any. We could only have 1 cup of coffee and one sweet-roll.....they were out of food. "Nice hotel near Jamestown/Sonora"
Had to be in Jamestown, so this was convenient, being only a few miles from the town center. Service was friendly, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable. You could hear the highway noise, but that diminished after a while. It was good to have a fridge and microwave. I'd stay there again in a flash, if required. Showed up at 230 and was told to comeback at 4 . While complaining on the way to the car an owner I assume heard me and got us checker in. "Affordable hotel close to all sightseeings"
The room we had was very very small, almost inacceptable for two persons with luggage. We stayed two nights. The bathroom was cleaned on the first day, but the bed was not made. the receptionists are very unfriendly, noone even greets you if you enter the hotel, unless with a suitcase, when someone asks "checking in"?.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Clean & quiet room near Sonora."
Check-in time not until 4pm, which could've been earlier.. Continental breakfast ended @ 9am so we missed breakfast both days. In future, we will stay in Sonora, as there was nothing within walking distance.
