The Churchill Hotel is nice, but the new addition, where our room was, is too modern. We thought it would be more old-fashioned, because it's an old manor house. But the old part is limited to 8 luxury rooms that are probably lovely, but are above our price range.

nice to have off road parking, room was quite small but very nice, en-suite shower room was of very good quality. Thirsk is probably a 10 minute walk away, however lots of good eating places a few miles away if you have a car. Overall, very pleasant experience and we'd use again

Very clean, bed was so comfy I struggled to get out of it. Owners were very friends and breakfast was superb. Definitely recommend this B&B.

Sue & Simon were the perfect hosts and di everything in their powers to make my stay a comfortable and enjoyable one. From the very comfy beds to the top quality toiletries, not to mention the excellent food, I found thid place impossible to fault. I'll definitely go back soon.
