I am a return guest to the Estherea. The hotel is quite enjoyable. One can tell that it is a labor of love on the part of the owner and staff. Some visitors from abroad my find the room size cramped but this is, in my opinion, more of an issue with European hotels and less with the Estherea. The Estherea is in a great location, it is beautifully decorated, the service is excellent and the staff is friendly and professional. I recommend it highly.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! My only suggestion would be to give more detailed instructions on how to arrive from the airport to the hotel. It is not included in the hotel shuttles and we had a hard time finding out how to take the public transportation. Ended up taking a taxi which cost €40. But it is worth the trouble. Very nice hotel and includes a nice breakfast. We would definitely stay again if visiting Amsterdam.

Only stayed here 1 night - it was convenient and cheaper than the airport hotels for an overnight. Right acrosss the street from the central train station (5 minutes walk), 4.40 Euro and <30 minutes to the airport, lots of restauraunts in the area and plenty of shops - conevnient for luggage as well! Free wifi new TV's. Would stay here again.

This hotel is good value for the money. The room was big, clean and we had a great view of the canal. The hotel is very close to tram stations, restaurants and super markets. We would definitely consider this hotel again.

Located in Amsterdam (Dam Square - Central Station), Old City Amsterdam is close to National Monument, Dam Square, and Royal Palace. Also nearby are New Church and The Old Church.

We stayed in one of the two bedroom apartments and it was amazing! Two days of imagining what it might be like to actually live in Amsterdam! The staff... was very friendly, you have to go to the bike rental for reception but that's no big deal. The apartment had two modest sized bedrooms with two twin beds each that you can push together if you're feeling romantical. There was one toilet/ shower bathroom and one bathroom with just a huge luxury tub in it! Both bedrooms had sinks, perfect for getting ready while your traveling mates take a year in the bathroom! The kitchen requires your own food stocking if you plan on cooking (which you won't have time for!) but had coffee and tea supplies which was nice. The living room couch and chairs were surprisingly comfortable and we enjoyed eating way too many Flemish fries at the dining table. The TV was tiny by modern standards but still nice to have. The only complaint we really had was the wifi was pretty terrible. An amazing stay all around, would be really upset if old city is not available next time I visit amsterdam!
