This is a great hotel, and they've improved a few things, from very good to excellent. They now have a high tea on the Rasa side, which is even better than Eastern Oriental. Both are excellent. But now the Rasa tea has amazing baked goods! We did it several times. The other is a champagne/cava happy hour, where they also added canapés. Those are fantastic, and you can meet some fun travelers too. We will go again.

For 100%, you will have an amazing time in this hotel. Everything is perfect. Service is amazing. People are nice and helpful. Food is fantastic. Location is great. In addition, they will amaze you with their set up if you book for your honey moon or anniversary.

The hotel staff are very friendly and the hotel itself is beautifully detailed and finished, but the superior room was dark and claustrophobic. The two small windows were sealed and shuttered- a rather unsuccessful attempt to keep out the long, blaring 5am wake up call from the mosque next door (Apart from turning down the volume a notch, wish the muezzin would at least learn proper Arabic - he butchered the call to prayer). The noise-related issues are a shame really, as the small hotel is otherwise an oasis of calm. No TV (good), safe or fridge (bad) in the room, leave your shoes downstairs. The breakfast is very good, hope they keep it up. The location is central and convenient for all historic sites. It seems Cintra lane is located in the heart of a tranny red light district, though the area feels perfectly safe and harmless at night. Found plenty of good food options within walking distance.

Was between Georgetown and most famous beach. Bus right outside and very cheap. We had a wonderful lady help us at reception with buses, places to eat etc. Breakfast was very nice and staff friendly. Beach maintained beautifully at back. Just did not have much time to enjoy facilities there. I would say beaches are still better in queensland but that is the case in most areas. Can not beat our surf beaches.

I come to Penang ALOT. This was once a very nice hotel, but many years of what appears to be NO maintenance & updating makes it a very run down hotel. But, it IS clean, and convenient to Bayan Lepas Industrial area. There are restaurants (Local food + Dominos Pizza), 7-11 Convenience store on the same block. Pool is grungy - I would not swim in it. […] Rooms are clean, and LARGE, with a very great work table - just like a large office desk. Very good airconditioning and internet. Easy access to highways. Queensbay shopping mall (large modern mall) is a short cab ride away. This is a business hotel there are no touristing areas nearby. There is no place to get breakfast. Read more

Decent room, however, the size is very good for a family. The security could have been better. Outsiders (non-guests) are free to access the lifts togo to any level. No security personnel seen from access via the main enterance or car park.

２人１部屋で泊まりました。日本でいうマンションタイプのホテル。タオルもスリッパも何もかも用意されてなかったので、そういう標準装備のホテルだったかなと思いつつも電話しましたが、その後バスタオル一枚とドライヤーだけ持ってきました。「２人泊まってるんだけど？？？」とたずねましたが、「ごめん用意できるのこれしか無いから、本当はハンドタオルとかバスマットとかほかにも色々あるんだけどごめん・・」との事で（笑）　　シャワーもお湯は十分でません。部屋は広くさらに２部屋テレビも２台ついてました。とにかく広いですよ。そしていたるところにくもの巣・・・　　始発の飛行機だった為空港に近いこのホテルを選びましたが、それでもタクシーは早朝料金（昼間の２倍）がかかります。私の場合交渉して空港まで４０リンギット（￥１２００ […] ）で行ってもらいました。　お部屋でインターネットするためパスワードもらいましたが、ここのホテルだけはどうしてもつながりません。そのこと言ったら「きっと、あなたのパソコンの問題だから、それに僕はインターネットのこと判らないから」で終わりでした。う～～～ん！従業員数もギリギリでがんばってるホテルって感じでした・・・値段相当と見れば納得です・・・汗 Read more

het hotel ligt verder van georgetown dan op het eerste gezicht lijkt (half uur met de bus). Er is geen ontbijt mogelijk, en retaurants in de buurt gaan pas tegen 11.00 open. Het is een echt zakenhotel, met ruimte voor congressen etc. al met al nogal onpersoonlijk. Er ging na inchecken niet iemand mee naar boven (13e verdieping) om uitleg te geven.Groot […] pluspunt is de enorme ruimte: grote slaapkamer, woonkamer met keukenhoek, badkamer OK, 3 airco apparaten. Uitstekend bed. Groot nadeel: een griezelig lange gang - aan de buitenlucht dus bloedheet - die afgelopen moet worden om bij de kamer te komen. Niet om in je eentje te doen.
