"Over All Very Nice!"
Over all very nice and would stay again. The room had a lot of dust and wish for the price that we would have had a tub instead of just a small shower. The food was amazing and good service.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place with awesome service!"
Everything was awesome, but when I talked to the representative I told them I wanted rustic with a fireplace and we just got a standard room so we were a little disappointed. It was our fortieth anniversary and we were looking forward to the fireplace. Other the everything was wonderful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"More than expected"
The first notable thought was the setting of the hotel. The configuration of the building blends itself in the natural surroundings. My eyes could not be helped from focusing on the bird feeding treatment with their 4 massive boxes on second story post with other posts scattered around the building. We had arrived early and selected to try lunch at […] Tarragon were we had baked potato soup that rivaled some of my home soup. While dining we were also treated by birds and squirrels also having their lunch. The staff being attentive as they are by way of the waitress informed us that when we finish our room will be ready. Greeting us as we entered our room was a display of wine, water, biscotti cookies and coffee to be made. A smaller room (of our selection) more than easily accommodated the queen bed. The room was pleasant and well thought out even including the Peterson's Guide to wild bird identification. In the evening we requested room service of sandwich and drinks. Unaccustomed as I am to pay a predetermined gratuity and $5.00 delivery charge, for room service, the quality of the Ruben was the best I have eaten outside the home. The next morning a continental breakfast, the cost that is included in your room reservation, was as tasty and satisfying as any early morning feast. The two nights that we had expected to stay was cut short by a home mishap and after eating we sadly signed out. I know the much looked forward to evening meal would have been great Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"A must to experiance atleast once."
We went for our 1 year anniversary. This place exceeded our expectations. I have traveled a lot and stayed at some 5 star hotels. This place by far was the nicest place I have ever stayed at. From the friendly staff to the grounds there isn't anyway of improving this place. Definitely one to put on your bucket list.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Loved the woody area surrounding the hotel"
The grounds around the hotel was absolutely stunning especially in the fall. I really enjoyed my stay and will probably return to this "retreat in the woods." However, it would be nice if the resturant prices were a little more reasonable. Even $15.00 (plan on $35.00 at least for two) for a breakfast entree for bacon and eggs is exuberant especially […] when you can go up the road to a B&B and get the same breakfast complimentary. "birthday retreat a delight"
Beautiful hillside wooded landscaping with marked trails for hiking. Decor tastefully simple yet elegant. Privacy respected. Restaurant with interesting and tasty menu items without the need for salt and pepper shakers on the table. Good choice of beverages in the lounge area. Will recommend to others and return ourselves.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

We had a wonderful girl's retreat. Everything was perfect, the rooms, the surroundings, the staff, the fireplace in the downstairs "family" room, the Tarragon restaurant. We will be back!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Best girlfriends' retreat"
Six of us lady friends traveled to The Inn on Thurs. and stayed one night. The rooms were very comfortable, the downstairs was perfect where we played cards and pool, drank Ohio wine and ate snacks as we sat by the wood fireplace. It was so relaxing. Staff was excellent. Breakfast at the Tarragon restaurant was delicious. We will be back next October […] for two nights but I am bringing my husband in December for a romantic get-away! Walked all the hiking trails; beautiful in the fallGenuine Expedia guest review
The hotel room was wonderful and completely relaxing. The complimentary breakfast could've been better for price of hotel and waitress was rude when we said we wanted the complimentary breakfast. But all in all it was an amazing stay.Genuine Expedia guest review

Beautiful -we'll be back! Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast wait staff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Everything was Great except for the shower. We couldn't get the water to "cool down". My boyfriend got nearly scalded while showering. When I mentioned the situation at check out, they merely said they would have maintenance "check it out". Don't get me wrong, we have stayed here before and will be back! We absolutely adore this country inn! Absolutely […] beautiful location and very accomodating staff! I'm sure it was just an isolated incident and we really should have said something when the incident occurred instead of waiting for check out. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

We enjoyed our stay in a comfortable room. Staff were friendly and efficient. Hiking trails on the property were very nice. Food and wine were excellent but pricey.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Loved the Inn at Honey Run, everything about it was just what we needed. Quiet, serene, beautiful setting. We needed to get away from work & the phones, so this was perfect. The trails around the property were short & enjoyable, just right for a morning hike in nature.Genuine Expedia guest review

"not as environmental as advertised"
too expensive. awesome location but way way too expensive. the staff except for one seemed condescending. I really expected more enviromental awareness from them. ex. incandescent lights, no composting, soap and shampoo not environmentally friendly.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel if you are seeking rest and quite"
Hotel is in a very secluded area. Rooms are lovely. We stayed in the lodge and intend to return, but would seek a honeycomb room that offers fireplaces and patios. There is no workout room or pool, but there are several trails in which to hike. We were disappointed that the fireplaces were not working and there was no one to resolve the issue. Many […] of the staff were new and could not answer many of our questions, which was frustrating. It is a great place to stay for rest and relaxation but is limited in its amenities. Enjoyed the Inn located right in the woods with walking trails. It was raining the one evening we stayed, and would have liked the fireplaces to be operrating. The signature king bed room at the Inn was very comfortable although we were at the lower level with no view. Amenities were appreciated, like the hot cider, etc. and the staff were very friendly […] and helpful. It was impressive and very clean. We ate at the Tarragon and it was superb but expensive. The included breakfast was very good. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"blown away from everything!"
we came (from Michigan) for a romantic getaway and we're just absolutely astonished at the beauty and service. The beautiful outside is nothing compared to the inside and the service is non stop and so wonderful. You're right at home as soon as you check in

We stayed here last weekend from Sunday to Monday. It was quiet and the room was amazing for quiet time together. We ate dinner at the restaurant which was fabulous. My husband and I have been talking about this getaway since we returned. It was wonderful and relaxing and the adult only atmosphere made it better. The customer service was superb from the moment we checked in until the time we checked out. Can't wait to return.

This was our first visit to the Inn at Honey Run. We stayed in the Honeycombs because we had thought they were so unique. From the outside you see a two story "building", but since it was winter they were covered in snow and you could only see the windows and private patios. It was quite an amazing site. The room was immaculate with a gas fireplace, private patio Jacuzzi tub and probably the most comfortable bed we have slept in. The staff was very friendly from the check-in to the waitress at the Tarragon Lounge. The honeycombs are up the hill from the actual Inn which is a nice walk if it wasn't icy and snowy like when we stayed. The inside of the Inn is gorgeous with a variety of rooms to sit and relax by a fireplace or you can go to the game room which has a pool table and board games. We had breakfast at the Tarragon, and while it was tasty, it was a bit pricey for us. We did have the Living Social deal which included the breakfast, but if we didn't it would have cost around $70. I had a slice of quiche with half a broiled tomato and one small potato cut in half and my boyfriend had 2 eggs, 2 sausage, half broiled tomato and small potato, toast and waffle and we each had coffee and a mimosa. So I think the price was a bit much for this. We also got a complimentary glass of wine and "appetizers" included in the Living Social deal which was nice, but again, it would have probably been another pricey meal. We also took a walk on a few of the nearby trails. The scenery was beautiful with all the snow, but it did make for a bit of a harder walk which we didn't mind. I am sure in the spring, summer and fall this place is amazing. We are winter people so we definitely enjoyed our stay. All in all it was a great couple of of days and we would go back, but I think it would have to be with another deal.
"A lovely night!"
01/30/15 cjsmith2015 Uniontown, Ohio
My husband and I stayed At the Inn at Honey Run on a recent Sunday night while attending the Basketball Tournament - "Classic in the Country" at Berlin Hiland High School. It is great because it is open with a full restaurant on a Sunday, while most restaurants in the area are closed. The Tarragon restaurant is wonderful and the views are the best around. Their food is excellent and the homemade bread and homemade tater tots are worth the trip. There was a bit of an issue with my gift certificate that I thought would end poorly, but the staff handled it very professionally and honored it with a smile! My husband and I were very pleased with the whole stay. I must also mention the Continental breakfast, which was not your typical breakfast. It was a sit-down lovely affair with a small offering of pastry (the scone was fabulous), fruit, oatmeal or yogurt and granola option, along with a choice of drink. This was all complimentary and included with all of the rooms, I believe. There was snow on the ground when we stayed and it made for a beautiful setting. The grounds are just lovely with many thoughtful touches for the guests. There was a bird feeder right outside of our window that made you feel like you were in the tree with them. The room was clean and large and very comfortable. Stay at the Honey Run - you will be so glad you did!
"A Honey of an Inn"
01/27/15 Jan G Hudson, Ohio
Our family has enjoyed Honey Run since it was first opened in the '70s, and it has never failed to be special. The modern decor, the dining room, the views of wildlife, the secluded location, the attentive staff, the excellent food --- are all without par in Ohio's "Amish Country." The inn offers unique packages throughout the year, and has been the site of many professional retreats and seminars.
"Hope to return soon"

Went there on a discount deal but it was worth a full price! We were in the least expensive room but it was still spacious and comfortable. Was beautiful even in the wet and cold weather and the staff was very friendly. Dinner at the Tarragon was excellent. Had a few items I would not have ordered on my own but they were so good I would order on my own next time. Hope to visit again in the summer months to enjoy the wooded setting even more.

Stay here if you love an outdoor setting! There are bird feeders right outside the windows, and lovely places to walk (unfortunately, a cold rain kept us inside this time). The decor of this place is natural and serene, with warm neutral colors. There are lovely little "nooks" throughout the common areas to rest and relax privately or in small groups. The room we had was on the lower floor and looked out onto an earthen embankment, but was comfortable. The Tarragon restaurant is a real treat - it's pricey but they spoil you with their great food and service. We like the staff: friendly local folks who take time to tell you about the area. We had a comfy bed and beautiful Windsor style wooden chairs in the room, with well-thought-out lighting. Keurig coffee maker and biscotti were a nice touch.
"The perfect winter getaway"
01/14/15 Beki T Columbus, Ohio
We stayed in the Honeycombs and we were delighted by the room, the view, the gas fireplace (though we wish it had been wood burning), and the comfort of the bed and the easy chairs. We stayed here right after New Year's and it was the perfect choice: wooded, quiet and away from the "real world." Even though it was cold, we walked the trails--had room service--the flatbread pizza is fabulous-- and wine in front of the fireplace. In the morning we had coffee and watched the birds come to our private feeder, and later we walked down to a yummy breakfast at the Tarragon.
"Quaint inn in the heart of Amish country."
01/09/15 Bob D Bay Village, Ohio
We stayed on a day in which the temperature was well below zero with the wind chill but we're still able to enjoy the dozens of bird feeders, including a Christmas tree decorated with seeds and lights. There are numerous trails available and in better weather I am sure they are wonderful. The property is beautiful. The Taragon restaurant in the lodge was wonderful! Very clean, very comfortable. We had a slight problem with the lights and outlets that was fixed as soon as we brought it to their attention. Overall a great experience.
