This hotel was excellent. The neighborhood is a bit lacking but being next to the main train station, I expected this although I did feel safe.

We loved this hotel because it was modern , close to the train station..and the shower was amazing! European showers tend to be very small but this one had a rain shower head and big enough to move around in!! Surrounding neighborhood is alittle dicey but its the city and to be expected ! Hotels.com had it for a special so took it. Place is very close ( <5 minutes from the Munich hbf), staff is super friendly and room is clean and stylish. Other reviews mentioned this is near the red light district neighborhood but wasn't a concern (there were some (1 or 2) strip clubs and small casinos in the short walk from the train station to the […] hotel, but the walk felt safe and just seemed like any other downtown area. The Hotel was very easy to be found with our cars GPS unit. The location was great (next to the main train terminal Munchen, main Bus terminal and many shopping stores) and the only problem was the parking. The room had a very modern feel and look to it, the lighting was great in the room and bathroom, which truly shows they are not saving on small items like these which is a very big thing for me that the room is very well lit. Big flat screen tv, mini bar, king sized bed, and a big shower which didnt had those water saver heads, this one had enough pressure that you can wash down an elefant with it, just perfect. The Eurostars Book Hotel was a very convenient and comfortable stop for me while traveling from Africa to Germany. I arrived from the airport via S-Bahn at Munich Hbf. WALKING – about 5 minutes; Up the escalator, out the maze of hallways to the street level and over to Bayerstrasse, to cross street Mitterelstrasse, south to Schwanthalstrasse and “Hey, […] there it is”. Reception speaks English and are very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and modern. No bathtub but a walk in shower that was very nice. Comfortable, firm bed. About five English speaking TV channels, two or three French, one Portuguese, and about twenty German language channels. The TV has a HDMI port if you want to plug in your laptop. Free internet that is very fast. You can include breakfast in the price of the room or opt out. I was very happy and comfortable here. Read more

The hotel is very modern and nice. Location is also perfect. Just 5 minute walk to central station whether you come in to the city by train or flight, that is the most likely place to get off. Very comfortable business hotel. I would give the hotel 5 stars if the staff were just more accommodating or solution-oriented. Room wasn't ready, but had business meeting within hours. I managed to get to the fitness room, but it was awkward to get ready.

Brand new hotel near the train station and a good connection metro or walking distance to the center. The breakfast is very good however it was not included in price and they charged it as full price when the one for guests was half price. Also asking for information prior our arrival was not made in a proper way.

No A/C. Heat stuck on in hallway, over 90F. Asked to have it shut off several times. Received promises only. Room 80-ish degrees F night and day. Slept fitfully on top of covers. This is a new hotel and the front desk staff needs to be a lot nicer. My room key stopped working multiple times and I was blamed for it. Really? The room was nice, but very cold feeling. The hotel was renovated recently and is clean. The only problem we had was the housekeeping would knock on the door in the morning unless you put the do not disturb sign on the door. Convenient location, just a short walk from the main train station. Overall very good value for money.

A modern, very clean and comfortable hotel. It seems to have been recently refurbished and looks bright and fresh. The shower is magnificent! Beds are high - and therefore have firm mattresses which we found slightly uncomfortable. They are also on wheels so they move a little... Rooms are very warm and the air con doesn't allow you to set the temperature […] below 18 to cool it down - the corridors are even warmer. We were woken a few times by the cleaners in the corridor, who seem to start quite early, and by people walking past. Staff were remote but friendly enough - we had very little interaction with them. Very convenient for Munich rail station and a very straightforward and easy 15 minute walk to Marienplatz. Location is otherwise a little run down and tawdry - the walk to the centre takes you pass sex shops and 'casinos' and ever present groups of young men hanging around. Hotel is brilliantly located, 5 minutes' walk from the central train station and 10 minutes' walk from the city centre. Spotlessly clean, rooms are modern but also very comfortable; staff were very helpful, suggesting sights for us to visit etc. All photos on their website are just like the actual rooms/hotel. My friends and I spend a weekend in Munich every year, we stayed at this new hotel this year and were very much impressed. The hotel was spotless, the rooms were well equipped and very well designed to make use of the space, so the rooms felt nice and spacious. The hotel bar is very well stocked and the service was excellent, as was the reception service. The hotel is less than 5 mins walk from the central station to the south, which isn’t the nicest area of Munich at night (not a bad area though, plenty of hotels and hostels in the area), however its within a short easy walk of the KarlsPlatz, MarienPlatz, the shopping areas and beer halls. The hotel is new, so is very clean. The rooms are well appointed and I liked the book references (our room had a line from Peter Pan above the bed). It had the biggest shower head I've seen in an hotel room!. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, our flight was early and we landed at Munich airport around 09:00, so I emailed the hotel a couple […] of days beforehand to ask if we could check-in early, or failing that, did they have a room where we could leave our case while we investigated our immediate surroundings until check-in. They let us check in early, a major bonus. At the end of our stay, we left our case with them, as we had an evening flight. The breakfast is very good, we didn't eat any other meals there so can't comment on lunch/dinner. The surrounding area is quite down-at-heel, but under renovation and a big plus is the closeness to the Hauptbahnof, the main train/tube station for getting around, only a street away.
