Roome was clean comforatable modern with some historic charm. Free WiFi worked great (not always the case in Italy).Location is great right by a tram stop and at the begining of the historic district.

Le Cep is a very nice hotel that is a less than 10 minute taxi ride from the Beaune train station. The rooms are well appointed, albeit with a faint cigarette smell which is unavoidable in this part of the world. The bed was soft and a bit saggy. We went on a couple of wine tours of the area that were alot of fun. Didn't try the breakfast (20 Euros each), so can't speak to that. Overall, very satisfied with this hotel and would recommended it to anyone looking for a romantic hotel for wine tasting.

After a long day of traveling, missed connections there was a discrepancy with our reservation upon arrival. In addition the hotels appearance was not great as it is currently under construction adding additional rooms. This could have been a disaster, but it was not. The manager and hotel staff at Monchapet were warm, friendly and attended to all the details to honor the reservation. We were greeted each morning with our choice of cafe, tea or chocolate and fresh croissants and bread. The hotel is located with in walking distance of lovely Dijon. Restaurants, churches, parks the holiday lights were very accessible by foot. I would recommend Monchapet.

The parking is good,the restaurant was good,we didn't arrive till 9,but they stayed open for us,we had duck and steak,both under cooked for us but the... chef re cooked a bit more and was lovely.A nice chiil out pool area.The only down side was our room,no,19,,didn't have anywhere to hook the shower,told girl on desk the next morning she seem surprised!.If you get noisy people next door like we did in room 20 who let there children run up and down in the morning,then its loud,,theres this funny design off a glass corridor that runs along out side the hotel doors so the sound travels.but would recommend to any one looking for a cheap clean place to stay the night half way to the south of france.x by a Hotels.com guest on 07/26/12

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, by late arrival after 9pm it is recommendable to check if someone will be there, luckily I did, they closed the reception at 9:00pm the evening I arrived. I will not use this Hotel anymore. The people running the hotel and restaurant are not friendly.
