The owners could not have been nicer. They were warm and outgoing and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. We spent New Years Eve at the House. The husband, a gormet chef, prepared a New Years Eve dinner that was extraordinary!! A traditional English country side home. Small rooms but spotless. We would return!!!

When planning our current trip, my husband said that he'd never been on the Atlantic coast and wanted to see it. I found the Wellington Hotel through hotels.com, and it looked nice so I booked it. Best. Decision. Ever. The hotel is wonderful, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, the room combined old-fashioned charm with a very modern en-suite bathroom, and the location is stunning. Also a big selling point is the hotel's chef, who provided us with an incredible dinner and luscious desserts, with tea served in the warm and inviting loungee. My only warning is that the hotel doesn't have elevators and the rooms are two flights up, so be aware that you will be climbing stairs. if you don't have a problem with that, you're guaranteed a wonderful stay.

Once we had found our way down the narrow Cornwall lanes, we were very pleased with this B&B. The nearby Portscatho was just the sort of tiny coastal village we had hoped to find in Cornwall. It's a bit out-of-the-way, down narrow, hedge-row-lined lanes, but Trewithian Farm is a lovely place with pleasant hostess and fine English breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay at the Pine Lodge. The owners were very helpful. They gave us great directions and offered good suggestions for things to do. Breakfast was included and tasty. It was a bit away from the action but that worked for us and we loved Porth Beach. We would recommend and will stay there again.

"Typical pub"
Typical pub really, very noisy after hours when the punters left and there was no parking which was not obvious from the website. The people were friendly enough but breakfast was all cooked food ie fry up with no option for cereal etc, however the waitress offered to pop out for some which was appreciated but shouldn't be necessary. Beds were not great […] with one really hard and uncomfortable and the other just bearable. We booked these rooms because it was in the right location and cheap, so you get what you pay for.
