Though my stay was only about 24 hours, I found the hotel staff very polite and helpful and the property and room were clean, comfortable and inviting. The complimentary breakfast was great.
"Amazing resort and beach!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 17, 2013
The resort is as nice as all-inclusives in Cancun, with a vast free breakfast buffet and free shuttle/van service to and from the port. The resort is also right on the beach, with free lounge chairs, free towels, free straw umbrellas, and food/drink service. The decor is exactly what you would expect on a Greek island, beachy with white and blue accents. Very friendly staff and amazing beach. Also very close to a bus stop, that will take you to the main city location with the windmills, restaurants, and shops. Ate dinner at the hotel restaurant and were given free donuts and shots for dessert! All the food there was great. Also just a few buildings down on the boardwalk from a small grocery mart.
"Parilia paris bargin"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 21, 2012
the owner called to give us directions but it was not necessary as it is Located 5 minute walk from ferry It was small clean room and had everything we need. Indeed it was the best bargin I ever had in a hotel room. Owner even drove into town after we left to say goodbye.
"best hotel we stayed at on our entire trip!!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 9, 2012
We LOVED this place! The room was extremely clean and large (especially by European standards). We went in September so it wasn't too crowded and I felt it was well worth the price. We looked out right on the water (30 feet) and the bed was very comfortable. We stuffed ourselves daily at the free breakfast, which was a great spread of Greek and non-Greek foods, but SO good! We ate at both their restaurants (same menu, so it's actually more like 1 restaurant) but we really enjoyed it. We went to watch the Greek dancing at the restaurant one night, which was one of our favorite things on the trip. We found out there's a free bus transfer to/from the port (look for Petinos Hotel, it's the same owner) The location in Plati Yialis was perfect. 10 minute bus ride to town, but a great beach right there with the option to take water taxi to Paradise Beach, etc. My only complaint about this hotel was that they don't have chairs on the beach for guests so you have to eat lunch at one of the tavernas and then they'll let you use their chairs for free. (go two tavernas down for the best) We also witnessed all the female waitresses having a loud argument at breatfast and felt they were a little rude at times, but felt all the guys at the Greek restaurant were super friendly.
"great place away from all the tourists"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 9, 2012
Great little hotel! We were there in early September, so it was the off season and not too many other guests there. The pools were very good and the hot tub was pretty nice when it cooled down. We went to Naxos to avoid the touristy areas and we found this place very relaxing. It is far from town and has cows and goats right next door, but this felt more like the Greece I was expecting, rather than Mykonos or Santorini. The free breakfast was very good, as was the restaurant for dinner. However, you'll have to drive to find other places to eat. We really enjoyed the taverna just down the road with all local foods. We took a taxi to the hotel to find it (about 30 minutes from port) and then the next day, Yanis helped us get a great rental car delivered. The whole island really needs a rental car to just drive around. There's a nice little beach down the road from here and Plaka Beach (our favorite in Greece) wasn't too far. The room was very clean and the entire hotel staff were wonderful. My only complaint was the bed was too hard and it would have been nice to have wine glasses in our room enjoy wine on our cute little balcony.
