"Relatively cheap and acceptable."
Small room with little light. Hotel difficult to locate. No service whatsoever. Would have to pay extra for room cleaning, changing towells, breakfast, etc. No view of the sea, not as shown in website. As prices go in Corsica probably you can not expect more. Bed hard.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Outside of Porto vecchio in a beautiful gulf"
Very nice place and its good for a few days stay. We have booked for one night only but we totally enjoyed it. The apartments are made like holiday homes with bbqs on the terrace and we had beautiful view. Loved it.Genuine Expedia guest review

Genuine Expedia guest review
"Excellent. On y retournera"
Service extraordinaire.

"Not really a hotel"
08/26/14 Lizabeth H Jerulem
The premium apartment was spacious, well designed, had a great view. There is a fully equipped kitchen. However, I was shocked when I learned that there would be no maid service during our 3 day stay. I have stayed in many 4 star hotels and never was asked to pay extra for cleaning. The second-floor apartments are only accessible by stairs, and they expect you to haul your own luggage up and down. This is not 4 star service. A car is essential, and just finding the entrance is confusing. The beach is a 10-15 minute walk. It's easy to get there going downhill, but walking back up the steep hills to the apartment was not enjoyable. If you try to drive closer to the beach, you will get stuck in a massive traffic jam. The food in restaurants in Corsica is mostly mediocre. The best meal I had was one I prepared myself in the apartment's kitchen, but this is not what I expect to have to do on a vacation. The service in Corsica has been mostly poor. If you want a gorgeous beach, good food, and great service, go to Costa Rica or Sri Lanka.
"A really nice place"

We stayed in a very comfortable semidetached two floor house with a great view, a large and clean bathroom, well equiped and modern kitchen. The beds was very good and so was the air conditioning, and quiet, which is not always the case. There was only one ordinary bedroom, but the two other beds was ok for the kids. We did lack something to sit on watchin the world cup in fotball, one armchair isn't enough. Normally we don't watch TV when travelling, but since we did, this one was a bit too small. The cleaning, three times in a week, was just fine. The bred delivery service was wonderful. The "family" pool was great, and the jacuzzi at the other pool was charming to use in the evening. It's a bit of a walk to the beach, but it's worth it. The beach is great, and so is the sea. Accomodation close to the beach on Corsica seem to be a bit expensive in general, therefore I can't say if value is better than average. A car is a must.

An excellent holiday at a very good price(last week in May) We were only 2 but we booked into a large Comfort appartment with 2 bedrooms. It was very well appointed(kingsize bed) with excellent views and a very large terrace with large BBQ. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Daily delivery of local bread was a big plus. Santa Giulia beach is magnificent.Highly recommended.

We have been to Santa Giulia palace a number of times over the years, always with our young children. I can only say the whole experience is always lovely and can't wait to go back (next time it will be our fourth time). The residence is located at the bottom of Santa Giulia bay which is stunning. The view as you drive down the winding road from the top of the hill to reach it is picture perfect, and once you get there you won't be disappointed either. Whenever available we always booked a Premium apartment which is definitely a lot better than the other options available (really more spartan and more sparsely furnished). The Premium apartments have high quality kitchen appliances etc, A/C which make for a very comfortable stay. We absolutely loved the outdoor patio at the front ( lovely view of the bay, bbq, table, sun chairs tc). The place is so idyllic that often we would not feel like going oupt to dine and simply buy meat or fresh fish in Porto Vecchio and grill out and enjoy our garden. You barely notice your neighbours, the place is really peaceful. The pool is never too busy (at least in June / July) if you want to spend a lazy afternoon at the residence away from the beach. I am not a big fan of Santa Giulia beach itself, but the residence is perfectly located in between Porto Vecchio and Bonifacio, and all the beaches in between. If you don't feel like driving to either town to dine, there are several nice restaurants really close by around Bocca de l'Oro, our favourite was Charraca with a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. highly recommended, especially for a relaxing family holiday in a beautiful setting
"Right location but lack of maintenance"
12/17/13 Apolii Velden am Worther See, Austria
We stayed in Residence Santa Giulia Palace in May 2013 for 5 days. The one room apartment we stayed has a beautiful seaview but the building itself is lack of maintenance. Ants and mosquitos in the bedroom and kitchen as well!WIFI connection only available at the reception area which required 5 mins walk from our apartment. The main entrance road to hotel is also need to be fixed. Location wise is good as its very close to santa Guilia beach.
"Very neglected - still nice views"
09/07/13 ChrisT3885DZ Munich
Although the house ("classic") was spacious and had a limited views of the bay the whole place felt very old, rundown and neglected. Lots of much-needed repairs were never done. The level of personal service was ok-ish, but a lot of things were missing: No w-LAN in the apartments, the one in the public are not working most of the time either No safe in the house The roads to the house in appalling state Breakfast service lousy The pools a very sad affair, not clean and repaired either All in all way over-priced , even for August
"Probably won't go back"
08/15/13 KAMDG Hamburg, Germany
We went off-peak and the place was essentially a building site as other complexes were being built and the roads were almost undriveable. We were lucky we didn't damage the car trying to get there. The room was nice though, and it was great having pastries delivered to us in the morning. It was a shame there was no bar open in the evenings. The whole place seemed pretty dead. Having said that I dread to think how people get in and out during peak times as the parking seemed limited. The price was good though and overall it was fine although the staff were sometimes hard to find!
"Disappointment - Booked Hotel Marina months earlier and they delivered weak village"
07/08/13 JeannieSergio Brazil
Total disappointment!!! Do not recommend. I booked in March, paid 100% advanced to 3 nights at the end of June. In the time, it was everything confirmed. Nice Bedroom with terrace in the Hotel Marina. When I arrived in the date accorded, they simply informed that there were no rooms in the hotel available and gave me a key of one of their small old village. The place had a strong smell of humidity, old couple bed with 2 single blanked, very old furniture.TERRIBLE.... I felt totally robbed, I did not take any picture of the place because of disappoint.
"Excellent for a stay in the spring"
04/05/13 Albywon Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
We stayed here in early April, right at the start of spring. It was very quiet, both the complex and the area in general. It is about a half mile (800 meter) walk down to Santa Giulia Marina which is very pleasant indeed. The walk down is marred by the appalling condition of the road. It would appear this is due to building construction in the complex next to this one. We had very limited involvement with the staff but Vanina was very helpful, giving us directions to get to the property (our GPS couldn't find it!) and providing internet passwords for each device we used. The unit itself was good, I liked the 'rainfall' shower head and the spaciousness of the unit. The double bed was squeezed into a small area which is awkward for someone on the left side as they need to exit from the bottom only. Overall very pleased and it was exceptional value for a spring visit

We travelled here the second week of september. You should know we are a couple with a baby of 8 months and our stay in Santa Giulia Palace was simply the best seen our family situation today. we stayed in an E-type appartment which is well situated near the pool, ideal for the 'babyphone' when our baby was at rest. Additionally the beach is a 10minute walk away which was a perfect alternative for the afternoon. Santa Giulia is perfect situated when arriving with Ferry Marseille-Porto vecchio. For the baby it was THE perfect choice. The appartment is been renovated, but not renewed completely, I should say it is middle class and was perfect. we paid around 1000 eur for our stay. the appartment is accessible with 2 couples as well and then 500 a couple is really a bargain for the location you get back. Still keep in mind a car is a necessity to go to local shops; A SPARis 5 minutes away by car. Do not expect Spanish costa like fiesta or 35 pizzarias in the neighbourhood.... this you will off course find in the harbour of porto vecchio (15 min by car). In the residence closest restaurant is at the beach: http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g196484-d2235858-Reviews-Les_Trois_Deux-Porto_Vecchio_Corse_du_Sud_Corsica.html which I highly recommend as well. for 15 eur/person you have a bed as well and can stay a complete day at the beach with luxury of toilet, douche,... As we travelled in September prices where reasonable, small point of remark would be the higher prices during July-August, but this remark counts for the whole of corsica and is as such not a negative point for the residence. I would go here again. Especially with children, pool, sea, and alta rocca for adventure 30 minutes away.
