Stay was very good -some of the front desk clerks should be more knowledgable of sights of the city and how to get to them so it doesn't take a long time for them to find out information. I would recommend this hotel to friends.

Hotel staff was very helpful; very easy to get back and forth to Fenway Park, Museum of Fine Arts and Gardner Museum. If in need of a cab, just have the hotel call for a pickup (which they were very willing to do) since the hotel is not located in area where cabs frequently drive by.

My daughter and I spent seven nights in enVision. The best part is that it takes only a minute walk to a T-stop where a green T takes you to downtown or connect to any other color lines of the subway system. There is not much around the hotel but that make it quiet and as tourists we go places anyway. The room is clean and comfortable. Since my room is on the street side there is noise in the morning. Some people may ask for other side room which would be even better. Overall, I'm happy with my choice.

Though not right downtown, the trolley stop right out front makes this easy access. Staff was friendly and accommodations were very nice. Fridges and microwave in room make it extra convenient - plus HD TV and lots of channels.

This hotel located next to subway, suffered by very laude noise till midnight. Also a half basement room, they called itself “Garden room”, was dark and added more noise by above their café room till 1:00am. I am not recommending this hotel.

Overall, it was OK -- but just. The room we got smelled strongly of dog, the noise from the road outside was pretty loud, and the neighborhood was pretty bleak (our Cabbie on the way back one night told us a few years ago we'd have been killed there, but now it was OK). Nothing of note nearby. That said, on the upside, the room was clean (except for the smell), the service was friendly enough, if not overly helpful, and it's right on the Green Line, about 20 minutes to Boston Common. Main upside? It's about a hundred dollars cheaper than staying anywhere nice and in a good 'hood.

We liked the hotel in general. The location was a bit far from downtown but public transportation was very accessible. Our room was ok. The view was of a rear yard--nothing special. We were next to the elevator, which made noise fairly constantly. Our two biggest complaints were the lack of breakfast--we've stayed in less expensive hotels with complimentary breakfast. There is no excuse for this. The area also doesn't offer much in the way of restaurants until you travel to Brookline. Second, our deadbolt did not work. We reported the problem. We told the staff when we would be out so that they could drill and fix it; maintenance came not when we were out but when we were there. It never got fixed.

Nice (smaller) hotel. Staff was very friendly and tried to help accommodate our needs. That being said, we had a two night stay and our room was not made up once during our stay, even after notifying the front desk. Very disappointing as everything else about this hotel was fine.

The hotel seems new or refurbished, and is fairly small. The room was sizable, but only had a desk chair and no arm chairs. There was coffee in the room, but no tea. There was a microwave and a nice mini-fridge. The neighborhood isn't terrific, with only a Subway in walking distance (at least as far as I could tell.. The hotel had valet parking ($18), which was nice, and free wi-fi. We went there because we were in Boston visiting relatives, and it was convenient.

I found this hotel on hotels.com and booked it because it was very reasonably priced and right between the Sam Adams and Harpoon Breweries. I had no idea the hotel was going to be so AMAZING!! I have to say it was the cleanest, most roomie, friendly and well priced place I have ever stayed. I have payed twice the price for less than 1/2 of the quality stay we had there. The staff was amazing, recommended a WONDERFUL place for both dinner and breakfast and was extremely nice. I have to say....the hotel was right in the middle of everything and going forward I have no question as to where we will stay our next time in Boston.

The hotel was very good. It is conveniently located to my son's apartment. I will return. I thought the price was right and the hotel was well run. One suggestion, they should put a few chairs in each room. There was only one chair in the room. It's easy to get everywhere from this location.

A boutique hotel along a mostly residential strip of South Huntington Avenue, enVision is a brand-new and surprisingly affordable option that is excellent for those looking for proximity to the LongWood medical area. Recent renovated, so it's very clean, smallish rooms which is typical of a classic building in Boston, great customer service and convenient access to major thoroughfares and transit and parking. Great neighborhood and within walking to pubs and restaurants. Only downside is there is no restaurant right in the hotel. I will stay here again and would not hesitate recommmending it to friends and associates.

I had a hard time choosing a hotel ... until I looked at reviews for this one, enVision. Basically, everything I expected was met: clean, comfy, nice location, conveniences, NEW, boutique style, cafe, great staff, great price. Although parking is $18 dollars a day, this is a much better price (for it's location) than other places and since I paid a great rate on Expedia.com, it didn't bother us so much.

Hotel looked brand new. Rooms were clean, bedding in great shape, room and hallways smelled like everything was just painted (not a problem). The hotel staff were extremely helpfull, they printed out maps to help find places to eat and local attractions. Everyone was extremely friendly. The rooms are small but perfect size and the bed is to die for. Cute little convienant microwave and fridge in the room as well. Not to far from a great restaurant down the street called the mission. Great valet service for your car as well. My boyfriend and I only stayed one night but we had a wonderful time!

This is the second time we've stayed here and this time was even better than our last, which is saying something, as last time was wonderful too. We were met by the valet, Jose, who welcomed us again, remembering us from our last stay and made our check-in process smooth. The staff at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Good suggestions for restaurants were made, requests made from the room were answered quickly and with a smile. The room was at the back with a great view of the park, very comfortable and very clean. I particularly like that the hotel provides a frig and microwave. We will definitely return to this hotel. Service makes the stay worth it.

just be aware ... currently (10/15/12) on saturdays and sundays the train's last stop is about 4 exits from normal weekday stop.... about a 10 min walk. on weekdays the normal stops are back in action and only have to walk down the street. very clean and friendly staff. free breakfast consists of an apple and plastic cup of fresh ice water. can purchase other items in their very small cafe. our room's coffee pot did not work and staff gave us free coffee to compensate. if getting 2 double beds be prepared for 1 bed to be smack up against wall and other bed up against window. would go back to this hotel again though. price was very reasonable for area.

We picked the enVision hotel Boston for our honeymoon because it was reasonably priced and located near a "T" stop. We couldn't have been more pleased. The room was very spacious and clean. The hotel is new and beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, it made you feel almost like you were staying in someone's house, not a hotel. The beds are really comfortable, bathroom and toiletries are great. Hotel is very clean and rooms are decent size. The hotel is right near a stop on the Green Line so it is easily reached by transportation although it is not that close to downtown. It is very close to the MFA, Brigham Women's Hospital, etc. Right now there is not much commercial activity in the neighborhood so food, drinks not readily available. It looks like the area is changing so that might not be the case in the future. The staff is very nice and attentive and they are enthusiastic about their new hotel! I had made reservations first for one night, then added a second, which meant I had two reservations. Unfortunately this meant I had to change rooms, but the staff took care of everything and couldn't be nicer. Free WiFi in the hotel and there was a strong signal, worked great. I'd definitely recommend the hotel. I enjoyed my stay!

Enjoyed my stay. Service was great. Staff fixed the bathtub drain switch as soon as I alerted them that it was stuck. Found several very visible hairs on the tub when I first went to use it, but no further cleanliness issues over my three-day stay. Loved the spa water in the lobby lounge. We were very happy with everything about this hotel. The building itself is charming in a very contemporary way. The staff is engaging and very helpful. The location, although not the most convenient to downtown, was right across the street from the "T" which takes you downtown in about 20 minutes...well worth the convenience. The 2 1/2 star rating is misleading...it's 4 star service and quality...don't hesitate to stay there!

Nice place... I would stay again. This out-of-the-way location works for my business trips to Boston.

I was pleasantly surprised by this new hotel. I stayed there because of its proximity to the hospital where I needed to go. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff recommended restaurants within walking distance of the hotel that were very good. The added features of a frig and microwave in the room was much appreciated. Their free WiFi did not seem to reach our room for some reason. The room was quiet and not too much traffic noise reached the room. The only thing I would request that would have made the stay easier would be if they provided some sort of magnifying mirror in the bathroom. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the hotel and service and will definitely stay there again.
