The hotel was a little dated but clean. Excellent value for what we paid I would go back againGenuine Expedia guest review
"Very nice hotel, within view of the lake"
The motel/hotel was cozy, clean and modern. We ate a take out supper on the little porch which was furnished with 2 comfy chairs and a table. Although it was raining, we stayed nice and dry. The linens were high quality and the bath was spotless with modern fixtures. We would definitely stay here again. We were about 50 feet from the water.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice motel on the water."
Very family oriented. It was just my husband and I and we had a nice time. However, the beachfront is very small and some families are very loud. That makes for a somewhat entertaining experience, if not all that relaxing.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great last minute get a way"
Very clean and friendly staff. close to concerts and beach.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A lot of fun!"
We had a very nice time during our stay. We met some old friends at the beach bar and had some appetizers. The food and drinks were great as usual. One thing that had changed since our last stay was I didn't see the "drink menu" they had previously which made it very easy to order. The room was clean and check in was quick, easy and gracious.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

My family and I have been vacationing at the NASWA Resort for just about 40 years. I have been unhappy over the last few years with the lack of attention paid to the room I stay in and additionally the customer service. Recently, I wrote an email to let them know I would not be coming back this year. And even though this has been a place that I vacationed as a child and now take my daughter, that I simply was unhappy and would be spending this summer vacationing somewhere else. Within a week I received a most surprising and unexpected call from them. I have never received a personal call from any establishment or business with apologies and wanting to make things right. I would like to highlight the positive here in my review! The Makris Family and all of the NASWA staff went out of their way to make me feel like they truly cared about my family and our satisfaction. This also showed me they truly care about their customers and showed me what the NASWA means to them. In a day and age where customer service is non-existent...they receive my high praise! I am happy to say we are heading back in August for a long weekend on them! Thank you again to the Makris Family and the NASWA staff for allowing my family tradition to continue! It means more than you know!

I reviewed the Naswa over the summer about our stay on July 4th weekend. While my complaints from that stay still hold true, I would like to write a new review for the excellent customer service that occurred after. The management from Naswa went out of their way to contact me to discuss my complaints after seeing my post. They wanted another chance to please us and offered us two free nights in a beach front room. This room was slightly better than the original room we stayed in, and we had no issues with bed sheets or cleanliness. Again, staff were super friendly and accommodating. The kids enjoyed many pirate themed activities including a treasure hunt. The beach was nice and peaceful and we ordered lunch from the restaurant that was delivered right to our spot. I have to give the Naswa accolades for going above and beyond and for making us feel like valued guests. I have never had a company go out of their way to contact me and attempt to make things right. For this, they have my repeat business for next summer for sure!!

We have been coming to the NASWA now for 11 years, this July will be our 12th. Not only has the Makris family and staff treated us like family we have made some life long friends here as well. The NASWA isn't just a beautiful resort it's also a chance to meet new people and have relaxing fun. We have made a traditional vacation with our children that I'm sure they will instill with their own children someday. New Hampshire and the Naswa go hand in hand, looking forward to the summer of 2014!

Love this place! Tiki bar and beach area and grilling area. Cottages are cute. Not upscale. There are boats to take out around the lake area. The Tiki bar often has live music. The cottages are cute, but not luxurious. Great place to stay for the money.

"One of our better stays in laconia. All our stays have been good."

We were glad to say our stay was the best there. It was to bad I got sick why we were staying there with my teeth. But one of you young lady staff members helped us out.She even went out of her way to help. She asked us if there was anything she could do to help. When I told her what had happened. She call her dentist for me to see if he could help me. He was so nice he even help me after he closed his office at the end of the day. I need to have a tooth taken out right away as I could not travel back home with it like that I could not eat or drink anything. We were riding home on our bike. Because of that we were able to stay a few more days. You did have to move our room to a another one .But we were luckily you hade more. We will hope to stay there again and this time bring our grand children and the rest of the family We wish we could reamer the waitress name who went out of her way to help me.We travel a lot and it is so nice to find a place that really care about what they do. Thank you.. Mr,Mrs Sandekian PS can't wait till next year. Eden New York.
"Great spot to be where the action is!"

A visit to the Naswa Resort is being where so much of the relaxing boating, beaching action is. Great spot for people watching - food and drink - sitting with your feet in the water. The Naswa Resort is central to all this great lake region has to offer. We rented a small cottage and loved sitting on the porch watching the boat parade. Very friendly atmosphere... you don't even have to leave if you are just looking for a few day get away - shopping, dining, beach & bar.

Before we headed to the Naswa for Labor Day weekend, we were a bit skeptical about how we would find the experience. Given the age of the resort, we weren't sure how it would be. I even went so far as to pack bedding just in case! Needless to say, I shouldn't have been concerned (or packed the extra bedding) because the Naswa is fantastic. There's a little bit for everyone... Great swimming, kayaking and games for the kids just steps away from a great beachside bar. The cottages are indeed on the older side but very clean and comfortable. You can't beat the screened-in porch right on the water! We ate at the Blue Bistro for several meals and particularly enjoyed breakfast. (did I mention kids eat free? You can't go wrong). This is a perfect place for a long weekend of some fun, relaxation and to really enjoy all that Lake Winnipesaukee has to offer. We will be back!
"Great weekend spot"
09/11/13 michaela t New London, Connecticut
My boyfriend and I went the weekend after labor day and it was great, probably a little calmer than the summer months, but the resort was great. The prices are worth it, and the breakfast wasn't too expensive, we even got free mimosas. Only downside was we were never sure what time the nazbar would close, since when we asked they said it depends, but that's probably due to it being the weekend after the season. We stayed in the studio suites and they were very nice, but there was plastic, or something, on the bed making it uncomfortable and noisy. Overall I would go back and I would recommend.
