The Corus was a good value for the money - especially after walking into some of the other private hotels in the area....the room was clean and spacious by European standards. The towels were a little worn as was the carpet and the upholstered furniture - but the bed had crisp linens and the bath was very clean. With little time spent in the room, I would consider staying there again for the price.

I was en-route from Amsterdam to San Francisco when I got stranded in London Heathrow airport due to snow delays. I arrived at the Guest House late at... night; I was tired and stressed, and the hotel owners gave me a warm welcome. They made sure I had a good breakfast and a local taxi back to the airport in the morning. (Airport taxis are much more expensive!) The room was comfortable and clean. I did not think much of this hotel when I first booked it. However, when I arrived I was surprised at the cleanliness of the room given to me. It is family-owned but the rooms and communal areas are given very good care on a daily basis. It is very near to heathrow so you'll plane noise but I got used to that. Anyway, I completely recommend this hotel […] to anyone looking for some peace and quiet.You do need a car though for convenience. This guest house is located conveniently close to Heathrow, that's why we chose it. We just needed a single night at the end of our trip prior to an early flight out of Heathrow Took just a few minutes to get to the car rental drop-off location. Room was compact but ample for all we needed. If you were staying longer and wanted more room there is a […] large common lounge on the ground floor you could relax in. Seemed to have enough parking for the guests. Didn't try the cooked breakfast as we were leaving early but the continental breakfast was already in the room upon check-in: cereals, milk and yogurt in the fridge. Even though close to the airport the noise from aircraft taking off did not seem to disturb us. There are a couple of pubs within 3 minutes driving distance, worked out for us. Read more

The owners are very friendly and helpful. The room was a little small. The only thing that might be a problem for some people is the airplane noise from Heathrow as the planes go out and come in right over the hotel.
